looks good to me,if it plays good you have a winner.its not easy making cues, you deserve praise for your work.especially if you got the points close, thats no easy task.
i wish you the best with your efforts

Well done, and nice JPs. I like your logo as well. I would like to see the engraving in your Hoppe ring, when filled with the black, to be more level with the outer surface of the ring, but excellent start!

Mr. H! Thanks for all the comments. I agree with you on the engraving. My engraving from now on won't be quite as deep, so it will be a little easier to fill up the void with black (or whatever color) and top it off with finish to be flush with the rest of the cue! Same with the joint protectors if they get engraved also.

Thanks to everyone else for all the comments!! I will be posting pictures fairly soon of the next cues I have almost finished and in progress!

Nice work John, The ring work and logo are really cool looking.

I just saw Larry's first cues too, looks Like you fellas are off to a good start. Congrats to both of You, and keep up the good work.

I met john at a tourney about a month ago and saw this cue and 2 others he was working on. I do believe that this is his first completed cue and he has a bright future. He was a nice young man who seemed to have a true passion for the game and making cues. Ill be looking forward to seeing more of his cues in the future.

Yep, it's his first cue. He has been planning and learning for many years to start making cues. He has befriended many premire cuemakers along the way. I think we will see many more from John.
