$2,000.00 Reward For stolen Cognoscenti Cue.. Please Read!

Troy...Trust me on this...LET IT GO! If Rick wanted to do anything about this, he would have. It is his choice, and we should respect that. I was privy to some new information about this last month in Vegas (which I refuse to discuss here), and it was confirmed by another party last week. All I can tell you is that there's more to this than meets the eye...which is always the case. Let it go.

Well most here went to his defense and really supported him in this situation. I don't think its too much to ask for him to mutually share the respect and fill us in on whats going on.

I guess this will be the next Roswell of the cue world oh well. Suck it turned out this way for him.

I hear voices....do you hear the voices....

Black helicopters all around....govt conspiracy....

Like Yogi said!

It's never over till it's over. ;) :D How did this get back up?

I'll start with the premise that no one deserves to have anything stolen from them.

But the story in a nutshell is:

Chick gets drunk one night, leaves one of two very expensive cues behind, nice guy turns it in, she gets it back for free.

The very next night, chick gets drunk again, left cue unattended, thieves take cue.

There were suspects.

Drunk chick makes reward offer to Eydie.

Stolen cue purchased at DCC by Rick. (He and the thieves are the only folks in this I haven't met and to the best of what I have been told, he didn't knowingly purchase a stolen cue. I know nothing about buying and selling cues so I have no opinion on this)

Rick contacts drunk chick and they make arrangements to return cue.

At some point in all of this, it was learned that the original suspects may have been connected with the sale of cue at DCC. It is not clear, or perhaps relevant when this was discovered, by who, or when it was learned by drunk chick.

Drunk chick sets trap, the rest is history.

The only reason I share what I have on it is that it is obvious by now nothing further will happen and it's time to put this to rest. I have had the unfortunate displeasure of having to witness several of the drunk chick's ridiculous tirades in completely unrelated matters so her behavior in all of this is no surprise. Eydie poured everything she had into helping her get her cue back and instead got played in a big way.

All in all it was a pretty sad story for everyone involved.

If I'm wrong somewhere and someone wants to correct something, then feel free to chime in, but otherwise it's about as over as it will get.

But the end of this story should read...Drunk chick gets ass kicked for not paying reward! JMO.

As Da Poet states: All above is the facts man, just the facts. I posted a "reward request" from Gina. That's all.

I did my best to help Gina get her cue back, in which she eventually did. If it wasn't for the original post (that some how was deleted) and the good people here on AZB, she never would have got her cue back.

Is she grateful she got her property back?... Yes, ..She should be, she got it back.

Is she grateful to the people who helped her get it back?...NO! ... She has she slapped everyone including me in the face for helping her. But that's okay, because what goes around comes around in this world.

I have completely disassociated myself from her since this fiasco, and in the future will have second thoughts about helping anyone again.

Good deeds, bad result

Eydie, what u did was a good deed by posting a stolen cue with the offer of a reward. What the AZers did by putting out the word was a good deed. What Gina did by not paying the reward was dispicable. She deserves the all the discust of the AZ folks. I hope she rots in ----.

"No good deed goes unpunished." Sad... but true.

Yeah Eydie,

You tried to do good but got burned.

Personally, your rep is golden with me. Rick got a bag of nuts from me as well as Pizza Bob, but Rick's still out a bunch of money.
