I've pulled the thread.

People were asked to keep it a little decent despite the bad feelings involved but it looks like that couldn't happen.

prolly a good call... i was the guy that recomended it goes back sticky after the mess happened... but things did get a bit out of hand with the pictures and addresses and all .. .but I still think that we deserve to be kept in the loop as to how this all plays out... this was one of the most watched threads in AZ history ya know!

Dave that just plan ain't right.:mad: That is letting her off the hook. :p The post was out of line but you could have just deleted the post and suspended the offending party. And maybe lock the thread.
I usually agree with most of what you do but not this.:(
 
Although this is disappointing, I respect your decision. Having to moderate an internet forum does not seem like an easy task at all, and I understand that a judgment call had to be made.

That said, I hope it's not out of line, but I'd like to respectfully ask if you could reconsider. I understand that would mean you'd have to pick through a bunch of posts to remove some of the over-the-top ones. Perhaps you could be liberal with the filtering by doing something like removing the last 2 pages or so and then locking the thread.

In any case, thanks for your efforts, and for keeping the thread alive and stickied as long as you did.

I'd also like to ask anyone else that is reading THIS thread to go easy on Mr. Wilson here, even if you feel strongly that the original thread should remain open. There's no way for him to please everyone, and the bottom line is that he is responsible for enforcing the rules of the forum, one of which is to keep it civil. When we don't, it can put him, and this forum in general, in a real tough spot.

Everyone who cares already knows all that there is to know ( that matters ).

the problems arise when the line is crossed. I won't stand by and watch if I think the board is going to be jepordized in any fashion, and I think when you are dealing with a lawyer it could be just like playing with fire.

Sooner or later, you're going to get burned.

I let people say a lot of things that I don't really agree with, but the reality is that she isn't going to dignify us with a response.

Fact of the matter is we cant do much to change it
However there is nothing stopping those truly concered witht the issue from keep THIS thread alive ... as long as things dont go overboard.... .

it isnt like we dont know the whole story.... at least those involved from the start....

It was a stupid inmature post that was made.:eek: I can't remember who made it. I do hope that the poster that caused this has been dealt with or that they plan on paying the reward for Gina.
Rackem- now wondering if the post was made by someone on Gina's team.:rolleyes:

Spot on.. we surely arent going to get a true response from her at this point,, hell I wouldnt ever come close to AZ if I were her.... I owuld still like to know how thw whole thing unfolds.. maybe Pizza Bob can keep us up to date... or even Edyie..if she isnt to upset of the BS she encounterd over this

I do wish I had saved that picture of her that someone posted, where he edited it to include devil horns, baggy eyes and sharp fingernails. LOL. :D
 
What about a thread that is sticky but locked? Written of course by non-other than our very own Mr. Wilson?

Nope bad idea that could be construed as slander if locked. It would not be just public opinion of her character thru our observation of her actions.
Or whatever :confused:
Anyway if it were to get put to forum vote, I feel the thread should be cleaned up and reinstated if possible. Then locked with a final message suspending Gina until the matter is settled.
Of course I do understand that there might be I hope some behind the scene settlement issues going on that we don't know about yet.:cool: one can hope.:rolleyes:

Yes, I see, you are correct. I just don't want this to die out! I want so badly (as so many others on this board do) to seen this matter resolved! I respectfully do not agree with the thread being removed, the offending party should be repremanded as if they had done wrong in any other thread.
 
I am very glad the posting got as far as it did. I will not forget the name of Gina Knight. I hope many of us get to meet her and tell her precisely what we think. :mad: Even is she pays the reward her rep is forever ruined. I'm sure she will eventually try to put a spin on events in an atttempt to regain her rep. It will b a bunch of bull.

I also hope that the thread is carried until we hear the final resolution of this case. I can understand, but I'm very sorry the old thread was pulled. I feel that a person should b embarressed to the fullest extent for dispicable actions. Oh gee wiz, we might hurt her feelings. :mad: I'm just sick and tired of political correctness.

I still want to know what Rick has to say, it seems like a lot of people know him, but no one has mentioned what he thinks of the incident....ect

that would be a little beneficial in my opinion, at least to know if he has even talked to her at all

Its probably for the better, it was getting to be real dirty. We all know her name and what she did. This is not something the billiard world will soon forget regardless of a sticky post or not. But its time to let Rick and Gina duke it out without us. For Gina- I hope you know what goes around comes around. I'm young- but its a lesson I learned quickly.

Lesson to be learned .... Do not buy a high end cue, without the original
bill of sales invoice. (most likely..... not a stolen cue)
