I've seen other players that are afraid or ashamed of asking for BIG or BIGGER spots. We had a local gambler that use to get a spot from a pro player. Very strong gambler/pro player of that time frame. He ask and got the 5, break and first shot. This wasn't an automatic win but made the 9 ball game fair. I won't mention the man asking for the spot but the pro player was Allen Hopkins. Allen would GIVE THE SPOT asked for, but only for 5 grand a set and ONLY on a big table. Actually Allen wanted to bet 10 grand a set. Not bad for 1979-1980 ish. A lot of money back then, heck a lot of money these days. True Story!

Kim knocked me out of the 8 ball tournament. I am pulling for her to win. Sweating her matches and being supportive. She is doing fantastic.

I am playing in the second chance at 8:30

Final results. Got 2nd in ten ball second chance. Got 4th in 9 ball main event. Got 3rd in 8 ball 2nd chance.

Kim got in the money in the 8 ball main event.

He's dead on here, any gamble you can't control the outcome of is a dead loser, especially on the road with a daily nut, bankroll management is crucial. Not a sermon, just a thought.
