John, It's not about breaking even for 10.000 again. It's getting your money back and it's about the rubber match....Ali/Frazier all over again...(Mills Lane from the grave yelling) Lets get it on!

I have a different opinion. I don't want to break even if I win. Plus I already said numerous times that I would challenge Lou when I had the money and felt ready for more than the 10k. If I had 30k to bet then that's what I would be offering. I will have 20 and so that's what I want to play for.

I do understand your point though.

Where you at Lou? "Dont be scared homie" as Nick Diaz would say :D

PS

What are Satori and Mr Shuffet going on about?

Basically John said Stan was the best shotmaker in the world and that he would bet big on that. Mr.Stroud said "ok, you have a bet." John said "ok, lets bet." Stan said "Satori, call me a liar to my face."

Thats it in a nutshell

Honest question for JB. Do you use CTE for every shot when playing one pocket? Meaning even when your not trying to make a ball. One pocket seems like 90% not trying to make a ball and 10% trying. Unless Efren is playing.

I use CTE for every shot where the object ball can go into the hole and on every bank shot.

For shots where I need to do anything else I will use ghost ball, feel, mirroring, kicking systems, etc. Whatever is in the toolbox.

I'm really at a loss as to what is so strange about these terms to some folks. They seem quite reasonable to me. #5 is a little strange and might need clarification or modification to prevent a very boring match but as long as it's just a "coaching" issue I see no problem with it.

Lou should jump on it, I would. That being said I'd have to put my money on JB in a rematch. I haven't been back to OKC since I moved from there 10 years ago but I think I'd make the trip for this one. If we could get Swanson to come we might even get an undercard match: Blind Preacher vs Gimp Limey Troll.

Anyway good luck John, we haven't seen each other in many moons but you were always nice to me so I'm pulling for you. If James is still out there and sober enough, pick his brain about strategy until neither of you can stand it any more. Hope it works out for you.

Wings anyone?

Like I told the guys in basic training. If we ever get into any serious combat I want you to know that I'll be right behind you every step of the way. Go get him, Lou.

Will it be streamed again? Hopefully it will be a better match this time around. I have to respect John for betting his own and getting in the box.

This is too funny ,, since when does the loser make the rules ,,
Then again why would he even give a rematch , his win and the clout that came with it is priceless ,

do you even play pool? John is trying to give Lou a free $20k

Best of luck John. Good to see there is at least one person on this forum who has some gamble and is not a total nit.

Lou, next month I will have $20,000 to play you. So let's do a two-man tournament with $20,000 entry fee and $40,000 to the winner.

My non-negotiable conditions are as follows.

1. The money is all posted by the 30th of November with an agreed upon 3rd party. The match is played in December on an agreed upon date.

2. The match will be played at Jamacia Joe's in Oklahoma City on a Diamond 9ft table.

3. The game is one pocket - gambling rules no 3 foul - 10 ahead.

4. We play 8 hours a day until the match is done.

5. Neither player is allowed to talk with anyone but the wait staff unless both players are present for the conversation with any other person. Any violation of this condition will be a loss of game.

6. A referee will be present and that referee will be paid 5% from the winner's take for his services.

I am not going to argue about it. Yes or no will suffice. Of course I know that it's unlikely that you will let it go at that. But these are my terms. Last time I went with almost all of yours. This time if you can get the backing and you are not afraid to play you can win another 20k.

Once again, these terms are non-negotiable. You can berate me all you want to but this is how I want to play. If you feel you can't win then a simple no is enough.

Everyone else, go ahead and flame away. You're welcome.

Non-negotiable is a non-starter.

Last time my crew and I flew out to NJ because that’s where you wanted to play. You wanted it streamed (and archived) from the Accu-Stats Arena so that the memory of the match “would be forever seared into your mind.” In fact, you paid Pat Fleming for the privilege and insisted it be a free stream so that hundreds could witness the beat down you'd put on me.

So if there’s going to be a another match, we will play where I want this time. My counter offer is: I will play for $10K, 6 ahead, here in St. Louis.

I will play — with the exception of just a couple of dates that I have something scheduled with Gail — anytime between Monday next week until the week before Thanksgiving. After that I’m traveling a lot and won’t be playing much pool.

But since your terms are non-negotiable we probably don’t have anything further to discuss.

Thank you. You have my terms.

I won't bother you any more about it.

This offer is open until next Friday at which time I will allocate the money elsewhere.

Negotiations appear to be taking shape.
"Forever seared into your mind", classic LouFig 😀

John, so when Lou brings his trained spider monkey that steals your chalk when you aren't looking, smile big.

Non-negotiable

Yes Jim some things are seared into my mind. Which is why my terms are clear and simple.
