No, the sandwiches from Steinway in Texarcana are notoriously small. You'll have to get your own.![]()
Lou, next month I will have $20,000 to play you. So let's do a two-man tournament with $20,000 entry fee and $40,000 to the winner.
My non-negotiable conditions are as follows.
1. The money is all posted by the 30th of November with an agreed upon 3rd party. The match is played in December on an agreed upon date.
2. The match will be played at Jamacia Joe's in Oklahoma City on a Diamond 9ft table.
3. The game is one pocket - gambling rules no 3 foul - 10 ahead.
4. We play 8 hours a day until the match is done.
5. Neither player is allowed to talk with anyone but the wait staff unless both players are present for the conversation with any other person. Any violation of this condition will be a loss of game.
6. A referee will be present and that referee will be paid 5% from the winner's take for his services.
I am not going to argue about it. Yes or no will suffice. Of course I know that it's unlikely that you will let it go at that. But these are my terms. Last time I went with almost all of yours. This time if you can get the backing and you are not afraid to play you can win another 20k.
Once again, these terms are non-negotiable. You can berate me all you want to but this is how I want to play. If you feel you can't win then a simple no is enough.
Everyone else, go ahead and flame away. You're welcome.

I don't want to break even.Just wondering why you wanna bet so high?

Because it sounds good...and the higher you pump it up, the more likely you AREN'T going to get a game.
but...but...but...I thought that betting high was the sign of a real MAN among pool players? Like Titanic Thompson, Daddy Warbucks,Fats, and Grady?Because it sounds good...and the higher you pump it up, the more likely you AREN'T going to get a game.

Just a reminder to keep this thread polite. I'm not pointing at anyone. Just a pre-emptive remind.
