I understand that but coming up with 20 thousand would probably be tough for a lot of people. Would be nice to see you guys play again. Same outcome though....Lou's stealing unless you've fixed that stroke.

"THAT" stroke, which cannot be modified, will live through infinity

that said, i like J in a potential rematch

Lou, next month I will have $20,000 to play you. So let's do a two-man tournament with $20,000 entry fee and $40,000 to the winner.

My non-negotiable conditions are as follows.

1. The money is all posted by the 30th of November with an agreed upon 3rd party. The match is played in December on an agreed upon date.

2. The match will be played at Jamacia Joe's in Oklahoma City on a Diamond 9ft table.

3. The game is one pocket - gambling rules no 3 foul - 10 ahead.

4. We play 8 hours a day until the match is done.

5. Neither player is allowed to talk with anyone but the wait staff unless both players are present for the conversation with any other person. Any violation of this condition will be a loss of game.

6. A referee will be present and that referee will be paid 5% from the winner's take for his services.

I am not going to argue about it. Yes or no will suffice. Of course I know that it's unlikely that you will let it go at that. But these are my terms. Last time I went with almost all of yours. This time if you can get the backing and you are not afraid to play you can win another 20k.

Once again, these terms are non-negotiable. You can berate me all you want to but this is how I want to play. If you feel you can't win then a simple no is enough.

Everyone else, go ahead and flame away. You're welcome.
I'll be the referee.

This is too funny ,, since when does the loser make the rules ,,
Then again why would he even give a rematch , his win and the clout that came with it is priceless ,

So you never heard the loser demand more weight to play again? No different.

But, unless Lou just gives a flat out NO to a rematch, I imagine it might be a while before we hear from him on this.

First, he has to decide if he wants to play, then he has to get ahold of his backers, then they have to decide, then they have to change the rules of play just because. ect. That all takes time.

Of course, then there is the back and forth getting the rules actually agreed to. I imagine that is where one party will back out.

No

10 AHEAD???
That might take 3 days or a week .
There might be nothing left of that 10K after table time. :grin-square:

I played there several days a week for hours and think my table timefor the month was only like 500...

JB you got heart , thats more than 99.9% of the rest have.
You lost to the guy once , now you want to play again.
You aren't asking for weight , just a couple of insignificant rules., and choice of venue.
I can't imagine why he hasn't already said yes, but that's just me.
This is as good as it gets gambling and way better than usual , especially since Lou did so well the last time.
The poolrooms are full of "gamblers" who wouldn't bet a dime, without the stone cold nuts, then they usually have to get a corporation together for anything over 50 dollars.
They knock everything in life, and put down anyone who isn't scared to try to stand up straight.
They are the walking dead and don't even know it.
Best of luck to you sir, in all things.

My terms as stated are 100% non-negotiable. I learned my lesson last time.

Then my guess is that you won't get a rematch.

Maybe not. I am guessing though that anyone else who thought that they are the better player would be wanting to follow me around and be ready to play.

:-) That's what Alex said about Shane one year when they were having a lot of head's up battles. Alex said I am just going to follow you around the country and play you everywhere.

Anyway I stated what I want to do. The tables are great, the room is fantastic. The money is right. So if he/they don't want to play I can live with that. Nothing I stated is or should be any sort of a problem.

Thanks. Hopefully this time I find a stroke to go with it.

Heart isn't going out and buying $20k in lottery tickets after the first $10k didn't pay.

Chasing money on a treadmill. Not going to happen.

I don't want to break even.

John, It's not about breaking even for 10.000 again. It's getting your money back and it's about the rubber match....Ali/Frazier all over again...(Mills Lane from the grave yelling) Lets get it on!
