Biased towards my friend? Are you sniffing glue???

That said, if I happened to like him and happened to be his best friend, we'd make SO much money on this match. I'd never allow him to talk like a fag as we'd be soooo busy insta-calling and taking every single side bet we could find on the mo-fo'ing internet. I'd literally hire a goddamn call center to handle the incoming bets for us.

Lou will def play this match accepting every single term that Barton asked for because out of the enormous ocean of mongoloid retards, there exists a few highly intellient people with lots of money who will use Lou to take the donation. They'll literally drop kick him into the box and tell him to stumble back with the cash.

Anyone who can't see that this is a mismatch needs to stop sniffing glue.

Your friend is John, not Lou. Biased toward means biased for or biased in favor of. Your post was biased towards (in favor of) John. Opposite of biased against, which would have applied to your bias against Lou.

Since this is such a mismatch of astronomical proportion I can't wait to see how many wheelbarrows of cash you will be betting on Lou if this goes off since that bet is such a can't possibly lose free money bet. And "I don't bet on people I don't like" or other such nonsense excuses aren't going to cut it after your emphatic long speech about how Lou couldn't possibly ever want to turn down betting this match for same or similar reasons since it is free money and none of that other stuff matters. How much are you shipping in on Lou on this free money mismatch of the century that he can't possibly lose?

A man who thinks nothing of dropping 50 bucks on a burger for lunch is going to bet high, i suspect.

I had said for years that I would play for $100 a game. Someone speaking for Lou barked at me to play for $20,000 on One Pocket.org. I responded saying I would play a ten ahead match for $10,000 and was called a coward, a nit, and a host of other things.

Years later Lou tried to use this as a way to needle me, calling me a two-bit coward and I responded that we could play any of the times I was in America at shows. Lou attended many of the same shows that I did so this was perfect for us to get together for a match (I thought but turned out not to be such a good idea).

I wanted a 10 ahead set and he wanted a race. I wanted to play on the Diamond in the arena and he insisted on a Gold Crown. When PPV was on the table in private he was ok with streaming as long as he got money for it. I did insist on a free stream for several reasons. One of which is that I feel it's ludicrous for amateurs to get paid to play pool and even more ridiculous to ask people to pay to watch them. And I felt that for a grudge match of that magnitude it would be unfair to restrict the viewers to those willing to pay. Lastly of course I wanted my company logo to be shown to as many people as possible since I was looking at the whole thing as a marketing opportunity alongside the personal reason to play.

I didn't lower the amount I would bet. We agreed to 10k and that's what I bet. I offered to raise the best four times to 20k on the condition that we post the full amount and all four offers were met with silence. So when they tried to raise the bet when my show started I felt it was a nitty move and I had already allocated a lot of money in my business so I declined the raise offer.

Anyway I don't really want to go over it all again because that chapter is closed. Now I have made an incredibly fair offer to someone that nearly everyone thinks is a far superior player. Obviously I think I have a chance or I wouldn't make the offer but the bottom line is that there is nothing wrong with my offer and if anyone thinks Lou has the best of it they should be encouraging him to accept.

I don't really care one way or the other but in my opinion the only two things preventing Lou from accepting assuming he can get backed is fear or ego. I doubt he is scared so ego will allow what most think is an easy payday to go away.

I am definitely not traveling more than five minutes away from my own bed to play for this much money. I learned last time the importance of being physically ready. Non-negotiable means exactly that.

ok, So this means we all get to see the new comic in your signature line for awhile now. ;)

My guess is 20K stays in everyone's own pocket. and Lou gets some dust kicked on him for not accepting, and JB had no worries except for the heart he showing for a rematch.

You compare a pool room to an open forum on the internet where a thread is opened by John Barton.

Like I said...

You're a Genius.

Yes, an open pool room and an open pool forum, because ya know... they are both open to the public....geez??

JB never said, oh, please help me get a game, I need y'all input immediately. So, yeah, you're still a NIT. They are tying to get a game, and you are free to read the posts, or post words NOT related to the actual bet. Another example of that 46 years of experience paying off. Might be why so MANY folks have you on ignore. LMAO

One Pocket Break Rak?

I could but that's not the focus here. I have a great business that is producing. I don't need to use this match to promote it. Last time I did get plenty of marketing out of it and all in all I am sure I got a lot more than 10k profit from that exposure. But it also cost me somewhat because I was doing a lot of traveling and selling cases instead of settling down and practicing. Everywhere I went people wanted to talk about the match and give me advice and I will be eternally grateful to all of them.

But when it came to showtime I literally had many voices in my head telling me how to play one pocket. Lou even claims I had voices in my corner during the match. This time I just want to have a nice game without all the theater. For 20k. That's enough incentive right there. You don't have a one pocket Break Rak do you? :-)

Ive never heard of a one pocket break rak but I can tell you pretty straight up how to break it so you will understand. One pocket isn't much of a game unless you can get a decent break.

i'll say they're very fair, no idea why he would even counter
if he's as good as everyone on az thinks he is, then...

take the terms and take the money

After eight hours of play I was ahead two games. Final score was 9-6.

Now I'm suppose to drive 500 miles and play 10 ahead on his table, after I flew to the East Coast to play him where he wanted?

I don't think so.

Lou stalling

Someone just misheard him. He wasn't saying " Im stalling " he was saying "IM STEALING "! 😁

You know, I've heard so many different takes on that match it's unbelievable.

The opinions are all over the place. People say it was close and people say I was stealing. John himself says he was beating me to the shot every time but would then dog it. All I know is that two amateurs, our speed, playing 10 ahead 1pocket is nuts. And I'm definitely not going to drive out to his home room to do it. I'm 62 years old and not exactly a triathlon athlete.

Ya when he was already in NJ at the XBO , I'd wait it out ,, he says final offer but we all know he can't stand living with that loss , the best bet of all is he will ask again no doubt about it

ideaologist, I know you're saying this tongue in cheek but really, as a practical matter, the conditions John has set are nuts.

If you're not saying this tongue in cheek, shoot me a PM and I will give you my PayPal account and you can send me the $20K to play.

You don't hate money, do you?

As I recall, it drove John absolutely ape-sheeto when Jimbo beat him and wouldn't give him a rematch. He endlessly taunted him saying, "John, I will never give you a shot. I will forever be winners over you." Drove John crazy.

Of course that's a relative term :-)

Where can I find last match?

Is last match anywhere to be found? Search came back negative on Youtube...

I have the original on a thumb drive and was thinking of having someone edited it down to a half hour highlight reel.

I was recently told that someone tried to watch from the above link and that it was almost unwatchable because of too many inserted commercials. Don't know if that's true.

Biased towards my friend? Are you sniffing glue??? I can't stand Lou's guts and wouldn't mind if he got struck by a meteor. That said, if I happened to like him and happened to be his best friend, we'd make SO much money on this match. Lou wouldn't bet that water is wet and wouldn't have played at all had someone not shoved him into the box and stuffed money in his mouth like a pig. Lou wouldn't think it was stealing unless John were fuggin' dead.

It would take forever to upload, nine hours of match time.

I actually do hit a couple of nice shots and in fact win one game on an up and down two-railer and win another with a three-railer.

Yes you did make several nice shots. You're a solid player. The double bank when you had seven but would have sold out if missed was a good shot. When I left the three railer I knew in my gut you would make it and you did.

You're a very tough player for me to face.

I will upload all of the match on YouTube sometime in the coming month.
