This year sure did go by quickly, and there were quite a few happenings that will go down in the history books for the year 2005 as it pertains to pool.
The readers of this forum are an astute bunch. We each have our own niche and/or expertise and, in a strange sort of way, play a significant role in contributing to AzBilliards Discussion Forum as a whole. Whether it is cue-making mechanics, new products, WEI table diagrams, live coverage of an event, cue stick descriptions, player sightings, or dissemination of current affairs, there's a little something here for everybody.
I would not be as knowledgeable or informed as I am today if it were not for each and every one of you. Try to base your choices on what you have read and/or experienced in 2005.
So, if you were to review the year 2005 on this forum, what would be your choice to receive the highest honors for the categories referenced below?
If you can think of any more categories, please feel free to add some!

Pool Event of the Year: IPT King of the Hill Shootout-Orlando (History-making event with $1-million purse, a first-class affair)
It will be interesting to compare the 2005 AzBilliards Readers Choice Awards to the coming year. What a difference a year makes!
