2006 AZ Straight Pool Challenge

Ran 55 tonight against none other than our thread starter, TheOne.

Well done, sjm. We know you can run 'em too. Still surprised that so few centuries have appeared on the list...

I ran 47 sat. Got whitey glued to the back of the stack after making 47

Blackjack is too modest to post it here but he posted he ran 175 the other day. Who cares if he thinks his table is too easy, that's one hell of a run!

I'll take a 175 on SIX inch pockets to boost my fragile ego and get over the century mark for the first time.

Maybe BJ would accept second place with a 138* score for his 175. I know he wouldn't be confortable taking over 1st spot from his good buddy Danny H.

BJ did PM me, actually didn't realise he wanted to be added to this list as PM was about other things too. Happy to add him to the list, although only thing I would note is that it was on an 8ft. Great run nonetheless!!! Let me know...

Finally ran something, Craig. Was afraid the Vegas bar tables would be a real problem for me so close to the 14.1 tournament, but I guess I got over it. Anyway, put me in there for a 107.

Look forward to seeing you Tuesday night, sir.

Great run, Steve. Getting over the century mark is nice. I hope you do well in the big tournament and keep on running those 100's.

Thanks guys... Friday might be pushing it, as I'm in one of the tougher brackets. But I shall try my best and we'll see what happens :).

Paul Hultgren vs Leil Gay

Paul came to Cleveland several years ago and stayed with me and Mike Janis, one day we both got in dead stroke. He ran 140 my turn I put a 254 on him, he came back with a 175 my turn 313 which is my high run. Paul you are a great player hope to see you in the future, maybe IPT.

Paul Hultgren of Sweden hasn't been active internationally for many many years. This year it seems he might be staging a comeback, he was playing in the EPC but don't know about his further plans. Yes, I do know he's one heck of 14.1 shooter as goes for you too Leil.

Congrats the One ! Century mark now broken you can take your game to the next level and start running those 300s ;)

Hmm, if the summer here is bad and I have some spare time, I think I'll go for the 100 run myself. Gotta get my camera running.... :P

Yeah, a foot injury was acting up yesterday so I was a spectator for a day. Asked my friend Marty to give TheOne a game. Craig ran a 5, then a 23, and then ran 72 and out, but kept going to see how many more he coud run, and when the smoke cleared, he'd run a 104. Guess I should have introdcued Criaig to Marty sooner!

But Craig left out the best part. Later in the day, when Mike Sigel came in for practice, Mike chatted at length with me, Craig and Nostroke and I mentioned to Mke that Craig had run a 104 earlier in the day. So even Sigel knows of this great feat!
