2008 SW...... DARK NOSE, 3 VENEER WITH A+B RINGS, AND SW JP's

What a gorgeous SW Marcus. You might want to double check on the wood. That looks like Goncalo Alves and not rosewood, regardless... Super, super sweet SW.

i ordered that cue new from SW...for more than you are selling it for

GL with the sale

Alves Forearm with BEM points

I might have a copy of the invoice around here somewhere for the price...but I know the cue was like 2650 from SW and then add the 250 for the JP's and I had like 2900 tied up in that cue---crazy

This cue is very nice, love the leather, heard SW will be offering leather as a wrap choice soon.

There is an "old timer" in my hometown pool room who was buying Southwest cues for $300-400, I think he told me he was buying 2 a year for years....he finally had a falling out with Laurie and stopped ordering. (He really showed her huh?).

I have a Predate SW, and Franklin Era SW, and I would love to find out what they cost new. I am guessing less than $600 for the predate, and $1000 or so for the Franklin SW.

Bump for my friend Marcus and great looking cue, that is UNDERPRICED IMO.

It was my cue, I got it from Birk1 when he got it new. I paid over cost because he had waited so long. I put on the leather wrap and had a Predator 314~2 made for it.
I lost some dough on it, but it was to heavy for me.
I got a real nice Bender that I can use. Marcus & I are working out a problem with it. But we've already agreed on the remedy.

SORRY ABOUT THAT. I'M JUST GLAD WE GOT IT TAKEN CARE OF.

I JUST GOT AN E-MAIL REPLY FROM SW.........

HAD THIS CUE BEEN ORDERED IN 2000, THEY WOULD BE WORKING ON IT NOW, AND IT WOULD COST.....

triple laminate @ 2500
AB rings @ 250
matching joint protectors @ 200

THAT'S $2950 AND THAT'S AFTER WAITING 9 YEARS.

Another great offering from Marcus on this beautiful SW cue. GL with your sale.

Wow....

Awesome SW from one of the good guys here in the Northeast.....Wish I had the scratch, Marcus - I'd be on the road to you now! Great to see such a gorgeous cue! Good luck on the sale bump!!

YOU CAN BUY IT BACK FOR LESS HERE......

I'LL CONSIDER NEAR OFFERS AND TRADES.

I have a question.
Why are the AB Rings so sought after ? Is there a special reason ?

btw very good looking South West.

2 REASONS I THINK......

THE CUES LOOK 10X BETTER WITH THE RINGS AT THE WRAP, AND BECAUSE NOT MANY ARE BUILT WITH ALL THE RINGS.

SW cues have quite a business. People are willing to wait 9 years for their product and pay that kind of money and they have a list of customers who are willing to wait 9 years. What a great business!!!!!!!!!
