if he goes he should win it.
but you never know.

2011 st louie roberts award

if dippy dave shows up at the dcc, he will need his own private room for all the action he will generate. you could sell private tickets to those matches. who would not want to see that type of money action. hell put him on the tv table and live stream ppv. hell he would really and life to that party.

Dippy Dave surely generates a croud around himself. He would win hands down. IMO

Repeat winner?

Can someone who already won the award, i.e. Shane or Chris, win again?

Ricky Byrd could be a contender...

Will Dippy Go Above and Beyond

My opinion: If Dippy wins, it shouldn't just be given it for betting high. Having gamble doesn't just mean you bet high. Take Jordan betting on the golf course, he would bet high but that didn't mean he had gamble. Was he willing to bet his last dollar? He was just a guy with higher amount of money on the table (which actually was less than the plummer on the hole behind him in relativity).

Getting action going, I think, is the award. He would certainly do that.

But, will he have the most gamble? Hard to say, unless he really lets go and that is going to take someone like Fatboy, or a conglomerate of investor's. Now that would be bi+ching!

Getting action going, I think, is the award.

The award is for action and entertainment. There have been plenty of non-entertaining action that gets overlooked because nobody was watching!!!

I hope Dippy Dave makes an appearance and puts on a good show.

Lol, Richie, you are getting way ahead of things! There's a reason why "the Louie" is not voted on til AFTER the DCC...

But, I agree with ya. If Dippy do da goes to DCC, I think he might be a strong contender for "the Louie". We'll see. Depends on what action he gets into. You never know, maybe nobody will get into action with him cuz the Dippy spot is getting too big to fade?

Fred, thanks for the clarication. I also hope he shows! He is entertaining!

Jeanette Lee has money and enough bankers to step up with Dippy. Weather they could agree on a game is another story. Johnnyt

It would be cool if Dippy was there for action, however if there is a poker tourney at same time as the derby im sure he ll be at that since he could finish damn dear last in the poker tourney and win more than if he busted everybody at the derby...thats whats sad IMO

One thing the poolplayers have learned about dipshit is to make him POST! As long as they don't forget that lesson, they might be all right.

Remember, this is the same guy who condemned all pool players! Called them a bunch of liars, thieves and low lifes. Like somehow poker players are better or superior (which they aren't!) And poured trash on Frosty after he stiffed him (and Billy). I guess I'm not quite as forgiving or forgetful as some on here.

If he comes, I hope he gets drowned and blows his entire bankroll to the pool world. That would be perfect karma for him.

I think I want to try out for this year's Louie Roberts A&E Award. It looks like anything is acceptable as far as being considered for this prestigious and coveted award now.

It's been a while since I've played pool. I've been making my dough in other venues, so I need a handicap, of course.

That said, in 9-ball, I want the all the breaks, the 2 and out wild, my scratches don't count, and my opponent must make the 9-ball last in their last pocket.

Calling all stakehorses. Bet it as high as the Georgia Pine. I will accept all takers. :grin-square:

I figure I can play for four or five dimes to start, and if it's too much of a spot, then we can adjust. :angel2:

Oh, all cabbage must be posted ahead of time before the first rack is broken. I don't accept jewelry or casino chips as collateral either.

thats a good question crunch, the past winners i think are suppose to get free room, and other things iam not quite sure what all,but i know its for lifetime,so i dont think it would benefit someone to win more then one time, unless they could sell it ,i really dont know ,hope someone could answer your question better then me.

OK, you got me at that game for four or five dimes. If it's close, I might even jack it to 75 cents. Or more.

There's no repeat winners. It's just as you said for the Louie Roberts A&E Award. :)

However, somebody can win the All Around or any of the other tournament competitions multiple times.
