2012 Mosconi Cup U.S. Team members....

I'd like to know how CJ plans to keep the storm from brewing in this group. It's no Secret that half the team doesn't get along well with Mike D. I think Mike D. is a hell of a player and a decent guy, but I think we all know how Hatch feels about him. And from what I understand from some of the things I've seen and heard there are others that feel the same. I'm not trying to take a run at Mike

I know this creates controversy but I am Genuinely curious as to how CJ plans to approach the coaching role? You obviously want there to be good cohesion between the team so how will you go about it?

I hope they do well, all of them.

Good luck to TEAM USA,

Justin

The biggest and only challenge for CJ is to get the US Team to get good night sleep everyday and get them to take cat naps when possible; if he fails in doing that you can forget the cup! especially with younger players on the team. I watched Shuff play a match in the US open before the match with Ralph S he was horrible i hope he never goes into slump like that match ever.

Dennis and I will be fine. I know I am a team player with one thing in mind, and thats bringing home the gold. I feel over confident in this team. In fact, I just got off the phone with Johnny and he is more excited than I am. This is truly going to be an epic match up!

EXACTLY! We will be fine and I have a feeling we will play great together in the 2 on 2 Mike and I get along just not when we play each other lol GO USA!! Congrats to everyone for making this AWESOME team....

And the world is in harmony. Good to hear from you and Mike.

GO USA!!!!

Team Europe is the favorite no matter what. BUT, the team that wins is the one that holds it together the best under pressure. Team USA has crumbled under pressure the last few years. Maybe this group can reverse that.

The Mosconi is very similar to the Ryder Cup and you saw what happened under pressure to that team. I think it's up to CJ to get the best out of his players. I don't know the magic formula. I wish I did so I could call CJ and tell him.

I will be there working for SkySports. When I'm in the booth I don't play any favorites, I just try to call it like I see it. I happen to like all the members of both teams. It should be a great match!

The magic formula is that all US players must be able to have good night sleep everyday during the MC, and go and take cat naps between matches when possible, otherwise forget the cup. I do hope all of them have good health and have no trouble sleeping, If anyone has issue sleeping, they have to correct it before they go, and if they cannot better choose replacement now!

I think there are only 2 variables that will decide the outcome of the Mosconi Cup. They are - who can handle the pressure and who can break better with the 9 ball on the spot. After rewatching the 2011 cup recently I don't think the U.S. really failed to handle the pressure. I think they definitely got out broke (if that's a word).

If I was CJ I would make sure that these guys have a HEATED Diamond to practice on and just work on the break over and over again. That's about all they can do to prepare for this match.

I like the idea of a heated diamond table to practice on and working on the break.

If CJ shows up at the White Diamond tournament this weekend in Lafayette, I will be inclined to share some additional insights with him.

A lot of you on this thread have said great positive things about our team this year! Its awesome to read and thanks for all the support. We plan to represent a hardcore winning attitude and I believe just like the Hatchetman believes, this is one of our strongest teams yet!
