2012 Mosconi Cup U.S. Team members....

First of all, if you knew your facts.. Rodney is the one who got mouthy with Darren at the Mosconi Cup last year. Rodney said to the crowd "I don't come to McDonald's and bother you while you're working" because they were sharking him. He continues to tell Darren to control the fans and Daz simply replied it has nothing to do with me and Rodney misunderstood him and offered him outside in the parking lot. Rodney must've known he was in the wrong since he apologized to Darren 2 hours after the match... maybe the fact of the matter is get the story right before making assumptions

I'd like to know how CJ plans to keep the storm from brewing in this group. It's no Secret that half the team doesn't get along well with Mike D. I think Mike D. is a hell of a player and a decent guy, but I think we all know how Hatch feels about him. And from what I understand from some of the things I've seen and heard there are others that feel the same. I'm not trying to take a run at Mike

I know this creates controversy but I am Genuinely curious as to how CJ plans to approach the coaching role? You obviously want there to be good cohesion between the team so how will you go about it?

I hope they do well, all of them.

Team America is so hungry right now for the cup that Mike and Dennis, who may not like each other as men but respect each other greatly as players, will put aside their differences and support each other and their teammates.

Mike and Dennis will be quick to recognize each other as vital to the chances of the success of Team America.

I'm not concerned about team chemistry in the least. Of course, beating Team Europe will be a tall order, but these five guys will give a fine effort. Let's hope it's enough.

Has anyone ever seen that crazy chessboxing? Where guys play chess for a round then box a round, and whoever gets the ko or checkmate first wins. If we had pool boxing id bet on rodney lol, he doesnt look like someone to **** with. Back to the topic, im also glad dennis made the team, def one of my favorite players

What Jennie said. You're both passionate about the game(duh) and winning(double duh), so that's what people should expect. Archer, SVB, Shuff, Hatch and Dechaine? Europe's going to have it's hands full.. we've got the US Open back home, now let's finish the job and take the Cup.

Team Europe is the favorite no matter what. BUT, the team that wins is the one that holds it together the best under pressure. Team USA has crumbled under pressure the last few years. Maybe this group can reverse that.

The Mosconi is very similar to the Ryder Cup and you saw what happened under pressure to that team. I think it's up to CJ to get the best out of his players. I don't know the magic formula. I wish I did so I could call CJ and tell him.

I will be there working for SkySports. When I'm in the booth I don't play any favorites, I just try to call it like I see it. I happen to like all the members of both teams. It should be a great match!

We have a ferocious looking team. Its the same lineup when we won last except this time, Hatch is not a rookie, nor Dechaine. We got numero uno and the best clutch player of all time. Shuff must be playing good to be number three. I don't see any weaknesses. I mean the only rookie is Brandon, but he plays better in random conditions any ways.

1.) Darren just got into a fight at the us open while Hatch has been resting and lifting weights. He is going to be emotionally devastated. And Hatch and Dechaine are the biggest sharking jerks in the world! Darren's got no chance.

2.) Shane Just won the US open/will prolly want to side bet matches.

3.) Johnny beat shane. Played Bustamante but they put a shot clock on his a$$ so he lost. But he is more seasoned than anyone.

4.) Dechaine and Shuff are two of the most offensive-minded players. I mean didn't the guy drill someone with an 8-pack?

5.) The only guy that lost this year, Corey is on the bench.


6.) We are the away team and expected dogs, so if we lose....no pressure. If we catch fire, they may lose on home field. Its not hard to catch fire given the aforementioned circumstances.

We got a champion coach/player also.

TBH if I was captain I would put them on the same doubles team. Neither one of them would want to be the guy on the team to miss a makeable shot or leave their partner brutal shape. Both would be trying to one-up each other and shoot the lights out and they might end up being the most dangerous duo in the whole tournament to play against.

i for one dont like the idea that johnny archer gets picked for mosconi cup. he is ranked 11th, while oscar dominguez is ranked 5th. not saying that johnny archer isnt a great choice for mosconi team it just seems that oscar worked very hard to try and make mosconi cup while johnny wasnt even close in points. Shane has been top 5 in points every year he has made mosconi cup. If Johnny is being picked because he is a better player then oscar then you might aswell throw shuff and hatch out and get corey and earl. seems like politics is involved here. perhaps the wildcard should be decided by public voting from now on.

if you are REALLY lucky, try a westvleteren, very rare beer but especially the green capped (8°) is an orgasm for a beerdrinker.

ill watch the MC with a good friend, have some single malts and enjoy the competition

The westvleteren is the only trappist that isn't exported so unless I go to you ill never have it closet thing I can get is the rouq 6 8 or the 10. Mighty fine.... mighty fine indeed :grin:
