2013 Ebony on Ebony Murrell Hoppe cue

Very nice cue from a huge cuemaker.
My next Kenneth Murrell cue will be a ebony on ebony too.

Best,

Great looking cue. What I do to protect the bottom of my buttsleeves is to take a piece of electrical tape and cut the appropriate amount in half lengthwise and wrap it around the bottom. It's real hard to see it and it helps protect the cap from nicks and dings.

This truly is great advice. Thank you very much!

Thanks for all of the compliments. It plays great. I will bring this and a few other cues with me to the SBE!

Lookin' forward to seeing y'all.

Now that's clean...

Very nice cue Chris!! Kenny makes players for sure, and that's a great example... I've got one coming in a year or so...and it will be my most exotic cue to date(hopefully :grin-square:)
Kenny's one of my favorite cuemakers! He's certainly making a product he's proud to put his name on. Thanks for sharing your new Murrell with us

That is a sweet Murrell, really like the veneer combo and the "fade" sort of colors, he do have an eye form making a classy looking cue. Love bumperless also:smile:.
I will join the Murrell club shortly also:p!

Congrats!

That is such a beautiful hoppe cue!! Flawlessly executed and those veneers are what Madonna would say..like a virgin!!
Love this hoppe cue, one if my fav for Kenny.
I think I'll put in another order with Kenny for a hoppe looks too good!!

Jive - you and I should be a design team:). It is a great looking cue, it´s not my colors but I can easily appreciate a good looking cue whatever the colors are.
To make the "simple" look this good is something I have seen KM do before, very nice players imo. And his inlay works is fantastic.

Reminds me of another cue i have seen somewher.

Except this cue has 17 less veneers and no ringwork...:o

The veneers were my choice based upon what I thought would look good. I like cooler temperature colors with ebony. My goal was to have a very "simple" ebony on ebony Hoppe cue with top of the line components like the elephant ear wrap and ivory over stainless joint. I think cues like this are harder to build because the design is so simple. I only have one fancy cue and it is getting some tender loving care by its maker - Mr. Searing. That cue will be very interesting when I get it back.

Thanks for all of the compliments! Mr. Murrell deserves all of the credit for his execution and attention to detail.

Happy Easter to all!

That's a beauty . Sad that I'm not gonna make it down to the SBE to see it in person .
