2022 DCC Discussion Thread

According to Onsite:

"see ya at Noon Folks... 9-Ball, then One-Pocket Final, then 9-Ball from then on out.. (9b Banks ring game too)"

According to Pat the noon match is Corey vs. Darren.

I believe the 1P final is at 6.

I can't remember for sure, but the last time I remember Efren in this room was in the TAR days he played Shane a race to 21 10 ball for 50k or more per man. And the last time Corey was in this room was when he gave Dippy Dave 18-4 or so for 40k per man. Both lost.

I think the scores were 21-17 and hill-hill one pocket. I think the onepocket was race to 5 or so.

Josh Roberts got the bye. He will be in the one pocket finals playing the winner of Appleton/Gorst.
I watched Appleton play one pocket a few years back. I know he's not known for his one pocket but he impressed me. He put that cue within a half inch of where he wanted every time.

It’s the best. I’m so pissed I had corona this year. I wanted to go. I’m glad I got that corona shit out of the way. Just happened at the wrong time 🤯🤯
Just getting over my COVID. Vaccinated and boosted but still hit me pretty hard. Two weeks later and I still can't shake the cough. You going to the SBE in April?

I want theater mode and no chat.

What can I say? I'm needy.
There is a button next to the full screen button, if you hit it the video will pop out into its own window. That window can be resized as big or small as you want. It can cover the chat from the window that stays behind.

He plays it well just not often, a lot of people forget he beat Chip Compton a big set a few years back. Probably wouldn't happen again but it was pretty impressive.

Corey won 5-2. The match was a lot closer than the score shows. Really good play by both.

We actually are seeing more action from Efren now that he is old since maybe the 1980's! Funny how that works.

Larry Shwartz (spelling) was on the commentary. Wow, that guy is good. Based on this one match, I'd put him on par with anyone for knowledge. Plus, he was really good to listen to.

Alex on the commentary said he is looking for action. Larry asked him "why don't people constantly play you just like they play Efren, to say "I played Alex". Alex says "I'm not Efren".
