Syria showed early in the match that they are very weak at kicking, and once China saw this, they made sure that Syria would have to kick over and over, favoring defensive play whenever the choice was close, and Syria lost virtually all of the safety battles.
Opponents must pay for their weaknesses, and if they are kind enough to identify those weaknesses for you, they make your job easier. China, despite failing to break and run even once. dominated this match.
