26 1/2 Fakery?

Brunswick did not stamp any model number on a cue. Maybe the 26 1/2 is meant to show the length of the handle? (He says it measured 26.5").

In any case, it's not a 26 1/2 because the points are not veneered. Pretty sure it's not a Brunswick. This looks like a European cue to me. Also, a Brunswick of that era would have had the joint screw in the shaft.
 
So, exactly where does the seller say, or even imply that it is a 26 1/2, or that it is
a Brunswick?
