3 Gus Szambotis that belong to a good friend of mine, Tom G, who asked me to share these.

The cue to the right is one of the top 5 best hitting cues I have had in my hands.

The top cue looks like it has 3 different types of rings.

The left cue looks like a double black veneer cue from the late seventies. I had a cue that was almost identical about ten years ago.

Nice!!!

Love the middle window cue (...add the bushka ring to it that is on the cue on the right and you have one of my dream cues). Glad Barry is keeping with the tradition so there is the possibility to have it!

Thanks for sharing!

What a picture... I like the observation of the three different rings used on the top cue. If you look closely on most of Gus's work you'll see that he used different rings on many positions - and still they match each other in looks so perfectly that it won't hurt the appearance the cue. He was a genius.

Beautiful Gus szamboti cues...but where are the gem shafts? I can't understand why people just post the butt of the cue...when it is the shaft that should have most if not all the credit for playability. Would love to see how Gus choose his shaft woods and I'm curious how consistent he is in his selection.
