While perusing the Brunswick website for centennial balls, I saw a cue tip costing $35.00 per tip. Does anyone know why this tip is so expensive? Can it outperform other quality tips like Sniper?

even their GCIV was eclipsed years ago by competitors and the GCV doesn't seem any better

I hate to be the bearer of this news, but I once ordered a box of Brunswick Blue Diamond tips and when I opened it up, guess what came out. The same little piece of paper that says Elk Master by Tweeten that comes inside most every box of Elk Master. So I asked the supplier about it and he said he was told the Blue Diamond was a select grade of Elk Master tips.McChen said:brunswick makes a tip called blue diamond. they are very popular for snooker, a soft tip, not quite as soft as elkmaster. the price you see is for a box, not a single tip.

I use that tip on one cue for one pocket. Good tip, not very available in the US, mostly UK. I got a couple from RON V., the guy who invented the rod jump cue and has a couple of books on aiming. A little better than the Elk Master.McChen said:brunswick makes a tip called blue diamond. they are very popular for snooker, a soft tip, not quite as soft as elkmaster. the price you see is for a box, not a single tip.
Why one pocket? Is there an advantage for you in that game. Do you use it for other games? Or do you just play one pocket. I'm wondering because I'm looking for a tip for one pocket. thanksabbassi said:I use that tip on one cue for one pocket. Good tip, not very available in the US, mostly UK.
