Is a help desk ticket required? I am unsure what is going on, as I turned my computer on at 0800 and it required updates. I said 'go for it', and here I sit at 0930, with no updates installed and no computer. BS. I think I need to replace my smoke detectors at home, but it looks like it isnt a plug/ play job?! They need new harnesses too? BS. I noticed my bike shoes' soles are separating from their bottoms and now I am afraid that when I go to sprint, I am going to rip the upper from the sole and that is not going to be a pretty thing. NS. And I want to do well at a pool tournament but I rarely play pool so I suck. BS

Black-Balled, what brand of bike would you recommend for a beginner? I don't want to ride on mountains or street. Just in the park on the paved paths.

Ah, thread drifts. :)

If you think you will be a serious biker buy once cry once. Get something you will enjoy for years. I bought a cheap Huffy. If I liked riding I was going to upgrade after while. Never got there. Gave the bike away. Drift continues.

“The Internet? We are not interested in it”

Someone decided to trash the one part of Windows that was usable? The file system is no longer usable. The registry is not usable. This program listing was one sane place but now it is all crapped up.

“We had planned to integrate a Web browser with our operating system as far back as 1993”

– Microsoft (27 Jul 1998, filing its first court responses to federal antitrust)
“Microsoft programs are generally bug-free. If you visit the Microsoft hotline, you’ll literally have to wait weeks if not months until someone calls in with a bug in one of our programs. 99.99% of calls turn out to be user mistakes.

I know not a single less irrelevant reason for an update than bugfixes. The reasons for updates are to present more new features.”

“Microsoft’s biggest and most dangerous contribution to the software industry may be the degree to which it has lowered user expectations.”

The Beatles

Well I guess marek has proven his point with this thread. ;)

JAM has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

Hey
I'd say either go to craigslist and then take the bike to a local shop for a check up...or go to the shop and get a new one.

I'd guess a new one, looking at around 3-500...craigslist 1-400,+ 50- 200 more to fix up/ confirm safety.

I would avoid target/ Walmart bikes.

Near you, i like performance bike and the bicycle place.

If you wanna send me further questions, go for it.

All the bikes come from one of a handful of Asian factories, so they really are wash, brand-wise. The difference is in the service- both before and after purchase- and the assembly.

He must have been related to the guy that sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees.

Or the talent agent who interviewed Fred Astaire, just after he arrived in Hollywood from NYC, rejecting him as a client and noting it on his daily log:

"Big ears, balding, can't sing, can't act... can dance a little."

Well, Marek, we have to admit that there is a certain amount of bs on AZ....
....do you find it any different in real life?

In the meantime, Marek is one hell of a player....four times national champion.
....not bad for a man who plays in his spare time.

And the name Marek is a way of saying Marcus in another language....
....some etymologist feel that the name came from Mars, the god of war.

On a related matter, this is a pic of a time piece that Marek’s countrymen have used since
the early 1400s....it tells time many ways....and might be the only one in esistence that
can tell Babylonian time....

So the fact that they’re still using this tells me there’s a pretty good chance that Marek
and his compatriots can clean anyboy’s clock.....:D

...so when he comes back....talk nice to him

When it gets to be too much BS for me, anywhere I'm at, I'll just go elsewhere, without a bunch of my BS about leaving. Now you see me, now you don't, no added BS drama needed and prolly not wanted! lol

I think that is the clock from Benjamin Button

Yep.. I think it was a guy from Decca Records... he also said "Groups with
guitars are on their way out" uh huh.

Ans Steven Spielberg got rejected by USC THREE times...

You never know...

I may have been a little hard on MucroSoft. This just in about Apple:

Top Apple Mac App Secretly Sends Your Browser History to China, Researcher Finds -- published on Gizmodo

It seems to have been popular ad-blocking software. It also sent a list of your apps and such back to China.
