Last weekend I took the ride to Steve's house with Little Kenny and dropped off a 6 pointer that I made for him. We spent the whole day playing pool, talking cues, and looking at a few amazing cues in Steve's collection. Thanks for the hospitality Steve! Looking forward to doing it again.
i bet that was a real joy to see
lookin good there steve
Steve is making some incredible looking and playing cues. The color combinations are always in a class all there own. This one came with two regular shafts, and one of Steve's magical high performance shafts.
I spent a day talking pool and cues and playing with Steve and little Kenny, and it was a blast.......better get on Steve's list before it gets very very long.
.
That cue is beyond impressive! That cue would stand out even in Steve's line up and we've seen the masterpieces that he possesses. Great work is an understatement on that cue. Bravo to you both and thanks for the great pics and sharing the story.
Thanks for all the great comments on Steve's cue. and I agree one hundred percent that this cue stands out with any other cue. Wait until you see the badboy, mr Dunkel is making me next...............
Sorry if I am asking the obvious, but what wood was used for the points and the butt windows? I can make a couple of guesses, but I am not really sure. As Chris pointed out, the match between the grain in that wood and the lizard wrap makes the cue, IMO. I do not often care much for lizard, but in this case anything else would have been a missed opportunity. Very nice.
Congratulations to Steve and Steve!
