87 and choke...

Nice Danny Glover Quote !!!!

Billy,

I never get tired of watching you shoot, you make this game look so simple. your patterns are fantastic. You got out of line a few times, but you were never affraid to take the tougher shot to keep the pattern right,

That breakshot into the side at 84 was insane, i was thinking that whole time that you were gonna play the ball in the side that was furher up table. cause you had the connector up table in the upper right hand pocket from our perspective.

Regardless it was real great to see you hit shoot again, and to hit a fantastic number !!!

Keep It Up !

It's hard to believe you can choke when you are playing by yourself. Missed a straight in shot at 88. I might be getting to old for this. lol

I'll toss one of your quotes right back at you...

"You could've knocked that one in with your Johnson."

Great run, and it sure is good to see you playing again!

I had decided on the 9 in the side with the 15 ball as the key about half way through the rack but I just screwed up the pattern. When I had to shoot the 15 I was trying to get on the 13 to draw back up in the kitchen and still retain the 9 in the side for the break but I screwed that up too.

Nice catch Steve.

I've been playing David, getting into the 50's a lot and a few 60's sprinkled in but I just do something stupid to stop the run. Sometimes a scratch on the breakshot, sometimes making the wrong choice on the pattern and sometimes just missing.

Get out there and run me a 100+ today.

Hats off Bill,
watched it now the 2nd time. You re really terrible strong. And your pocketing-abilities....ouch- great.

good to see you shooting again:)

Not a choke. Just relaxed too much after taking the last two shots and took it for granted.

Nice Shooting, Eddie.

I agree whole heartedly, think that all started from the wicked side pocket breakshot.....nothing that a little water break would have fixed to clear the head !!!

I've been playing pool and 14.1 for 50 years and have had several runs just over a 100. Many 70 and 80 and more 50 and 60 then i can remember. what i want to say is that don't treat an 88 lightly that is a great run.If you go thru the records of 14.1 tournaments from back in the day of the legends you would be surprised at how good an 88 ball run looks.

@measureman

you always hear *those railbirds* and *strangers* talkin in pool-halls how big their runs are,or better *have been*. But if you play em- especially under pressure.....what s happening?

The truth is mostly different- if you re constantly making 50 s in league/competition etc, you re a strong player. Doing 100 s permanently in competition is world-class (real competition!).

And Bill: sometimes i ask myself, if you perhaps not knowing HOW ****IN STRONG your are playing!!! You are so constantly shooting big runs....every time a pleasure to watch your game!
