87 Ball Run

Nice run as usual Mike. I just noticed that your 87 ball run took 31 minutes and my 85 took 30 minutes, it looks like we play at about the same pace. Keep em coming.

Mike, I don't know about you but I get into perfect rhythm when I play pool with Dark Side Of The Moon.

;)

Nice run, Mike. I like that you talk during the run this time and help us figure out what you were trying to do. I also liked that one rack where you were working hard to develop a break shot. There were two on the line on the left side of the rack and two balls down below. I thought you were going to shoot one and then get a little angle on the other and bump one of them just a smidge. You had some insurance balls. It looked like you may have tried that but then did not get the angle. On the 8 and 9 along the rail, I figured, if the 9 went you would just have to play for getting the 9 straight in, stop the cue and use the 8. Kind of high. You did much better. You went over to the 9, got perfect along the rail, and bumped the 8 down closer to the racks while you still had 3 balls left to work with.

I did not think you were going to miss that shot you missed.

Nice run and keep talking.

Thanks

Thanks Dennis:
You are right on with your comments with that rack. I did want to bump one of those two balls that were on the line. It just did not happen.Turned out setting up the break shot was just what the doctor ordered with those two balls that were high on the table.
As for talking.... I have decided to play the music lower and talk b/c I do think it is good to see what the player is thinking and trying to do. Anyways, when I do practice. I do a lot of talking plus curseing..... I have backed off from talking b/c of the video taping. I will be very careful about my NY Italian language after I miss...... LOL
