1. How old were you when you started playing, and where? I was around 9 or 10... Started playing at the Boy's Club because I got so good at ping-pong that no one else would play me.

1. How old were you when you started playing, and where? I was 18. This girl I was hanging around with at the time took me the poolroom and proceeded to kick my ass. While we were there, I watched a couple of old guys exchanging money and my eyes lit up.

2. How long have you been playing?Like 4.5 years

3. Where is your favorite place to play? Doesn't exist anymore: Shakespeare's in Denver.

5. What is your favorite break cue? Whatever cue I happen to be playing with.

6. What pool table do you like best? The one with the most easy money. I'm a much better bar table player so I'll go with the Diamond Smart Table or Valley barboxes.

7. What set of billiard balls do you like best? Doesn't matter to me as long as they're all the same size and they all roll true enough to get into the pockets.

8. What are your favorite games? Probably 8-ball on the bar table.

9. What is/are your favorite cue case(s)? I don't see the reason in spending $200+ on a case.

10. What is your favorite tournament to play/attend? I've been to very few tournaments and I generally don't enjoy playing in any of them.

15. What's the longest period of time you've ever played pool (hours)? Longest time I've spent in a pool room is somewhere between 30 and 40 hours. Longest time of non-stop playing was somewhere around 8 hours.

2. How long have you been playing? 15 years.. I quit/slowed/stopped for
about 7-8 years. I also had almost a year from 19-20 that I didnt play much at all.

1. How old were you when you started playing, and where? When I first played and really started to enjoy the game I was 12 and living in a town of 700 people in Wisconsin. I used to go to the bowling alley (4 lanes, lol) everyday and play a couple games of pool with the owner. I first started playing "seriously" when I was 19 and an actual pool hall opened in the town I live in now.

2. How long have you been playing? Total, 13 years. "Seriously", 6 years.

3. Where is your favorite place to play? The Varsity Club, Oshkosh, WI. My home room.

4. What is your favorite shooting cue? Out of all the ones I've owned, the cheap JP Series Pechauer I currently have is my favorite. I've actually owned it for eight months now which is a record for me. lol.

5. What is your favorite break cue? J&J Break/Jump with a Samsara Break/Jump Tip and a Cyclone rubber wrap.

6. What pool table do you like best? Diamond Smart Table.

9. What is/are your favorite cue case(s)? This one. It's super light, can hold a lot of stuff and is very comfortable. When it comes to "fancy" cases, I like Justis'.

2. How long have you been playing? 23 years; however I had a lay-off from the game between late 1992-late 1997, then again from late 1999-late 2002. I guess that makes it only 15 years?

3. Where is your favorite place to play? In major professional tournaments - preferably held in a convention center. Pool room-wise: Hard Times Billiards (Bellflower, Ca), followed by Hollywood Billiards (Los Angeles, Ca).

4. What is your favorite shooting cue? Ariel Carmeli Custom with a Tiger "X" Shaft, and Sniper Tip (Black).

5. What is your favorite break cue? My playing cue.

6. What pool table do you like best? Six-legged Brunswick Arcade (circa 1930's) followed up by a tight Brunswick Gold Crown I.

7. What set of billiard balls do you like best? Brunswick Centennials.

8. What are your favorite games? The game I most admire, is 3-Cushion Billiards, but there is little cause/competition to play it. My favorite game to play, is 8-Ball.

My favorite to look at, are Whitten's and although I have had one (Whitten) for many years now, I never use it and have been using my Instroke Cowboy exclusively for 7 years. If Silver Fox had a better shoulder strap (e.g. buckling did not dig into my shoulder) the 4x8 soft case would be my favorite. Note: I really miss the nice It's George cases (non Brunswick) with the clamshell pocket - I had one once.

10. What is your favorite tournament to play/attend? The World Pool Championships, IPT, US Open, and the old BCA Open (Pro).

11. Who are your 3 favorite players of yesteryear? Dunno how far back yesteryear is, but: Sigel, Varner, Hall, Mizerak, and McCready. I don't count so good.

12. Who are your 3 favorite current players? The one that I think plays the most hard nosed, deliberate. and overall tough as shi* game to beat is Alex Pagulayan (I am 0-4 against that kid). He is a goofball, but his game has all my respect. Aside from him, I like how Shane hits the ball. On the ladies side, I like how Jasmine hits the ball as well.

13. Which 5 people would you most like to meet on AZ? Ray "Coolcat" Martin, Hal Houle, Watchez, Cuaba, and perhaps Donny Mills - a fellow working stiff poolplayer.
