I have been cutting down ultraskin tips until 4 layers show with a nickle dome.

Is this correct. I know it works fine and plays fine.........???

What is your recommendation?

Kim,

That is pretty much how I have my playing cues but I like a dime dome for playing, that just becomes more of a personal preferance though.

I just put on a Med on a 12 MM shaft. I broke it in a bit on Sat night and played league tonight. I took it down a tad so it wasn't quite as drastic a dime shape.

The balls went exactly where I wanted them to go tonight, right in the pockets. I'm liking these muchly. Very nice cue ball action.

In fact, I think I need 20 more.
