A Bit Of Trivia About Aileen Wuornos; The Serial Killer They Called "Monster"

Aileen Wuornos, the prostitute turned serial killer who they based the movie "Monster" on, was eventually convicted and put to death for killing 7 men who she met along Florida's highways.

She and her lesbian lover went into a Daytona Beach bar called The Last Resort to drink and shoot some pool. After Aileen snapped an 8b to win a game, the bartender, a big burly fellow called "Cannonball", said she was very lucky to win that way. Moments later her luck changed as lawmen entered, arrested her, and took her away for good.

She was put to death in 2002 by lethal injection.

I know that making the 8 on the break isn't a win under all rules, but I didn't know it was a capital offense.
 
according to wiki, she did something that I never recommend doing.....

"on July 14, 1976, she was arrested in Antrim County, Michigan, and charged with assault and disturbing the peace for throwing a cue ball at a bartender's head"

She liked to play pool. I used to see here in Joe Flanigan's bar better known as "Big Daddy's" when she was in town. They had 6 bar tables and it was her hangout. After it all hit the news no one was really surprised, she was an obvious nut job.

Pool seems to attract that certain element. I used to play pool with "Murph the Surf" way back when. Actually he was pretty good friends with Freddy the Beard.

I hardly ever played eight ball in bars....but I'm glad she didn't play at rooms that I hung around.

never played her in 8-ball, but I hear she was known to lay down....

I few guys didnt post up and tried to air barrel her, those guys havent been seen in a long time.......:o
 
Well, Daytona Beach, one of the greatest beaches in the world, was her hangout. A beach so nice and wide, you drive your car on the sand.

She bagged more than her share of men, unfortunately to death.

Given the two above circumstances, was she the ultimate sandbagger???

My theory on gambling with a woman is to dump and lose. If you win there is probably somebody in the place who is ****ing her or would like to **** her or used to **** her and there is no upside to winning.

If you lose nobody gets upset and it might lead to more action after she tells the entire place she beat you.

I've found the exact opposite to be true. Bet her something "interesting" then decide if you should win or lose

Unfortunately, Aileen didnt have safe sex with many of her customers....

...she liked sex the same way she liked her cues...............unwrapped....... :embarrassed2:
 
I knew her (no joke). She was on my caseload when I worked at Broward Correctional Institution (it's closed now). Six months after I transferred back to the gulf coast she was executed. Unrepentant to the end.
