Here are my three Fedunka cues. The first is an all original with a Gus blank and a single diamond in the forearm. The cue was in storage for about 15 years.
The next two were beautifully restored by Steve Klein.....

I am jealous, I'll make that perfectly clear.

Damn nice set of cues!

Thanks for showing off!

Hey :)

When I was talking to Steve, he mentioned he just posted some "Fedunka's"..
I thought he got new cues from Europe.. ... :o

I did not know who Mike Fedunka was.. So I did a fast search..
For those who don't know Mike Fendunka, I found this from the 'net. :

Mike built cues in NJ for approximately 25-30 years. He worked for various cuemakers in NJ, as well as building his own cues.
In the beginning his cues were modeled after Palmer, and Paradise, in his later years they started to resemble Gus Szamboti cues.
He purchased Gus blanks and some of his cues have been mistaken for Gus Szamboti cues due to the design similarities.
Mike had a hand deformity and despite this handicap, made cues that were very well done and very clean.
Mike was partners with Karl Mayer and the company was briefly known as M and F cues, Elizabeth NJ. Mike passed away in 1994.

They do "Capture the Era"..
Nice pick-up Steve .. Thanks for posting..
Nice restoration Mr. Klein... :)

Outstanding cues

First, thanks for posting these outstanding cues. I always look forward to Steve's posts. I know I will see something really well done. To me, they are like Playboy. Colored pictures of things I want.

All three of these cues personify the style I like so very much. My personal favorite is the first with the single diamond, however, all three are simply the nuts.

Congratulations once again.

sincerely,
Phil

Fe-who-ha ???

That top one turned out wicked nice. It looks at home next to its brothers.

Hey

They just don't get any more old school traditional than these do they.

Soon after getting the first one with the single diamond in the forearm, and the Gus points, I showed the cue to Barry and Joel. They had a good time trying to figure out who made the cue....we never came up with a clear answer other than it wasn't a Gus.

about a year later I brought it up to Conneticut for one of Mark Kalungians AZ get togethers. Mark was looking at the cue for about a half an hour and wasn't too sure who made it either, when in walks Joe V. Joe takes a peak at the cue and says hey " nice Fedunka". It was pretty funny that he knew instantly who made the cue...being Fedunka was a Jersey boy, Joe knew a lot about him and his cues.
