It looks like a Joel Hercek fullsplice is in the works! I'd love to see what you and Joel plan to do from here.

It looks like what my blank will look like 2 batches from now :embarrassed2:

Only put my order in 2006. When did you order yours ?

New Cue

That was a easy one to pick, yes Joel Hercek. The curly maple is the last piece of his old stock, about 15 years plus old. Joel said the maple id going to pop when he applies the finish,it will look like a dark honey stain. TY to everyone who took the time to post on this thread

Just for additional information, I put my order with Joel in 2004. He has responded to each and every email I have sent him since then. Last time, I contacted him in October of 2011 and he was just starting the 2003 orders which he said would take several years, so I hope I am close-

To give you an idea, the tone is very similar to my Vigus.

Joel said I'll be in his next batch here in 4+ years. I'm pretty excited and need to come up with something special design wise. I can't wait to see the finished cue!

Hi,

I love the look of dark honey stain with curly or birdseye. Enjoy the journey.
