Awesome... I love your non-traditional tooling.

Orders?

Hey Bub,,

Are you accepting new orders? Please PM me a price for one like the plain black, only in dark brown with a small pouch if you will.

Thanks
Josh

Bet it was hard to hold back. Kinda of like trying to keep a racehorse in check!

Well, yes and no JB, it is true that I love drawing up patterns and carving them as beautifully as I can....so much more worthwhile than blowing up belt patterns by 200% or using patterns left over from tatoo/body modification shop closing; but I take equal pride in making parts that have nice scale, and assembling them with great care. In my opinion these are so beautiful, they can stand plain....ornamentation is icing on the cake. Making double needle saddle stitching look nice ain't easy, and finishing edges cleanly is better workmanship than twisting a piece of lace along the edge.

In other words, the horse can give less than full effort, but he chooses to run his best, be it at the county fair or the Kentucky Derby.

Yup.

Great cases need no decoration IMHO. After re-learning about saddle stitching myself I have to say that good looking stitches are a real sign of workmanship. And it's easy to cover an edge rather than make it look clean naked.

After having taken apart all kind of things to see how they were made I can see where the workmanship matters. Well done work is well done even where you can't see it.

I prefer cases without tooling myself, not that I don't appreciate the art.

That's a great case.

case stuff

Beautiful work Marc. Whether you're doing extravagant tooling or something simple you always make it look clean and perfect for that case. And your top notch craftsmanship always shows through.

I always look forward to seeing what you come up with next :D
