Chad just said the winner tonight will be playing none other than Earl The Pearl in the next action match. Check it out on the action report later

i love long races, even if its one sided, seeing someone fall into the zone is great, or big comebacks. that is much better pool that alternating break short races.

I think Earl will get a hard time playing Shane in 10-ball, race to 100.... Shane is playing like a machine now, unbeatable.

Still, I will root for Earl.

Alright, what's the early line for this match up? I know it would help to know the location and rules, but what does everyone think?

I don't think the game should be 10-ball. If the match is against Earl, make it 9-ball, race to 100. "Color of Money" 2007! 10-ball I think would be a lock for SVB. However, 9-ball would make for an entertaining match.

Has anyone seen Earl play 10-ball? I'm guessing he'd be good, but the deteriorating break of Earl's would be at a handicap in the 10-ball game.

You know if Shane plays like this against Earl,Earl will not have a chance.Shane is playing like some kind of monster.

This isnt Earl's first rodeo in a race that long. He knows what it takes to last. It will be a great match no matter which player he plays.

Southpaw

You are right this is not Earl's first long race.He will have to keep his temper under control and I think that will be his down fall.

Ummmm, Southpaw you my boy and all , but I will have to respectfully disagree with you here. Earl has absolutely no chance against Shane. It doesn't matter if its 9 ball, 10 ball, 8 ball, or handball. As the wise barber in "Coming to America" once said when referring to Randy Watson," That boy Good!"

170 games and he showed no sign of letting up. He was playing as perfectly after 170 as he was after 10. Amazing display of pool playing prowress. I've never seen anything like that. Beautiful!!!!

Earl is the dog now, 20 years ago he had a shot but not now. I have no clue how to handicapp it because Earl is too unpredictable, one thing is he wont bother SVB. It has to me a money line bet not games on the wire. 7/5 or 8/5 SVB is the favorite.

I think its more like 3 to 1, maybe more. I wouldn't bet on Earl for less than 4 to 1.

Earl isnt what he was but he aint dead, I'll take 4 to 1 for a dime.

the opening money line would be like shane -260 and move slightly towards the start of the match.
