I say put Larry Nevel in a challenge match with SVB playing bar table 9 Ball. What do you all think?
 
I promise you I think this would be an awesome match. I'm not just looking for a player to beat Shane. I have to say I think on a bar table, playing Larry, in a long race, would be brutal. Considering Larry keeps a level Nevel head.
 
I want to see SVB battle Francisco Bustamante or Ronnie Alcano while all of them are right now in Las Vegas. But please make it this weekend, race to 100 again.

No disrespect intended to Larry, but SVB is in the elite level.

Larry is just a monster.
 
I would love to see The Cannon on the bar box action table.

Anyone who thinks Shannon Daulton can't make some noise on a bar box, then you're deaf! :D

This topic comes up every couple months. The majority of people are going to say Larry doesn't have a chance. There are a few that know better though and know that Shane isn't a lock in this game. Larry has asked Shane to play, more than once, and Shane has declined. Recently on a web cast from The Action Report, Shane (well, more Chad and Justin) said that he'd play Larry, so things may change now but who knows. Just have to wait and see.

None of this really matters right now since Alex is the Action Challenge Champion now.
 
Who do you put against Alex? Maybe put Alex in a game of rotation with another Filipino? It would be fun to have a player with similar character to Alex to play in the action challenge. Maybe put Alex in a one pocket match with someone?

Put Alex in a standing long jump competition against anyone in the world and empty out. Trust me on this one.
 
I was not looking at this through "SVB" goggles I was looking at it realistically. Noone in the world (yes, the big round thing we live on) breaks the balls better on a barbox than Larry. Not Shane, not Shannon, not Hillbilly, not Johnny........nobody. I am not saying Larry has to win or is even the favorite but if some of you think it would be a real upset if he beat Shane you are kidding yourselves. The guy is a barbox animal.

Larry for sure would be even money to beat Shane on the bar box at worst. BUT he often blows up, if he can keep his emotions cool, itd be a great match

Has anyone heard of a 500,000 match going off. Backer is looking for Shane. I know the other player & am afraid to say. This sound real bogus. But I did see the money leave town the other day.

I almost wish I was there but really don't. I could always get pay per view. This action would be for the bar box. What is everyone thinking? If they can just get him on the bar box everything will change? I feel clueless at this end.

I am old enough to know people make up stories but this sounds plausible. A very reliable sorce. till now?

I haven't heard of anything like this. Are you saying the backer is taking his player to find Shane and play him on the bar box? I do know that Larry's backer can cover that sort of action without issue, but I probably would have heard something from Larry about that if he was involved. Who's the player? Or where are they from at least?

Strong Player. Not my first or even 4th or 5th thought about who could instill this kind of gamble.

From the Seattle Area. The money did not have to come from Seattle.

Somthing I just heard day befor yesterday and I guess they are in Vegas. I "know where" I'd have to wait on a phone call to verify.
