And again, you guys are taking it as if I'm defending him. I'm not. What I'm saying is that he said the post office told him it would be delivered by Friday. I think until then he should be given the benefit of the doubt. Come one, guys, look back on your life and try not to forget something that got screwed up that you had no inention of it happening like that. Yeah, he used poor judgement in asking his friend to take it to the package to the PO for him while he was out of town. And he wasn't aware that it hadn't been sent *BECAUSE* he was out of town and wasn't looking on the board. I don't know about you guys but when I'm really busy or going out of town checking this forum, or any other forum for that matter, is the last thing on my "to do" list. According to his story when he found out about the mistake he drove down to his friends place and picked up the package. Then he made the same mistake by asking his mom to drop it off for him and trusting her to get a tracking number. Dude, I've had my mom send packages for me before and told her to get a tracking number and she consistently screws it up. Knowing that something like that can happen with my mom, who I think is a fairly well educated woman, then I can see it happening with someone else's.
Does he deserve to take some shit for this? Yes, of course. But a lot of people around here are basically making him out to be a thief when in reality, if all he says is true, it's just one huge clusterfukk that got way out of hand. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until this deal is done. If it does come out that he's lying I'll be right there with the rest of you guys with the blow torch lit.
