Inlays have never, ever, added anything but expense to a pool cue.
its like a old car worth $15000,spend $40,000 to restore and soup it up and it could be worth $20000

If you have the means to have it done and really want it....go for it...it's your cue
Just make sure it would be Pete doing the work....don't know what all these guys are telling you to leave it....you would definitely be increasing the value of the cue and making it more appealing to yourself...that's a win win....
Because two are better than one.
Not everyone can afford two. Myself included.
