Aiming Teams

I'm usually quite serious but this thread represents my other side.

Why not just have some Aiming Teams scattered throughout the country? Let's just settle the aiming matter thru competition.

The Ghostballers, The Feelers, The Edgers (CTE), The Contact Pointers,
The Strokers, Dave's DAM Team, The Fabulous Ronny V's., The Fractions. Can you ADD TO THIS LIST or come up with better names.?

The players could have uniforms and all.

This could even develop into some franchises. Certainly the teams are going to want to aquire strong players. Bring in the top players. Pay'em good. Get'em all aimed up. Get everyone stirred up!!

Get TAR to do some big money matches.

Good idea. I like the idea of either taking the very best in the world at those disciplines and matching them up or taking the very worst in the world, teaching them the disciplines --- and then matching them up after 1 week of instruction.

Maybe we could make it a new reality show and have TAR film it. Kinda like making a silk purse out of a pigs ear. Although I am not sure how the pig would feel, but the worms would like the time off, I'm sure...

Jim, that's okay. This is about spirit.....love of the aiming system.

At first we need players that will just compete for the system and the team.

The money is later....money'll probably ruin it all.
 
Dave, Go into training now. You could be a starting player for the EDGERS.
You'll at least make it to camp. Who knows from there. There could even be a bidding war for you.....The Vs and EDGERS

I'm gonna do a timeout and go train Landon a little bit on PRO ONE at his request.

I want Patrick Johnson on my team, since he knows EVERYTHING about aiming. He's the guy I'd go to with a "time out."
 
Stan, I have all the respect for you as a coach and your knowledge...
But I don`t think this is about whose or what system works better...All systems work the problem with systems is that many people who teach them , are not very good at what they do,and i`am talking about the fly by night guys...And as a result many players will say that the system doesn`t work...

I would do what your asking for but I would like to use one unknown person and give him a 4 hour lesson and see which one of them he thought was the easiest to learn...

I have given 60 phone lessons as far as China and most all of the people hit 17 and as much as 20 out of 20 shots...And that was just a phone lesson that I gave from my sofa....

I really think we should take a few of us coaches and try to put together a system that would be easy to teach and easy to learn...I think that would help many pool players and end all the drama about aiming...
