That's terrible news.
I have two of his cues (one player and one break/jump) and they both are simply awesome.

Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends.
Rest in peace....

Very sad news. Completely honorable man in all of my dealings with him over many years.

I had the pleasure of sharing Alex's company one afternoon for a couple hours playing 8 ball in the pit at JOB's. He really was a funny guy from the limited amount of time I got to know him. Hope he rests easily up there.

Adam;

Very sorry for the loss of your dear friend.

I did not know Alex Brick but I do have one of his cues that I love for its very unusual and upbeat color scheme, the high quality execution, and great playability.

My prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

RIP Alex Brick.

best,
brian kc

Very sad - condolences to all of his friends and family. I had the pleasure of meeting Alex once at JOBs and really liked him. He made the best jump cue ever made in my opinion (he allowed me to buy the jump portion of one of his diamondwood j/b cues before he was making the jump cues alone).

Rest in peace, Alex. You will be missed by many.

My only interaction with Alex was when I had him replace a butt cap on a jump/break cue. He only wanted to charge me $15. That included shipping it back to me! :eek: I ended up sending him $30. I got it back in a very short time and it was perfect.

R.I.P. Alex.

This is very sad news. Alex will be missed by all who knew him. Alex was as sharp as they come when it comes to building cues. It has been several years since I visited his shop, but his knowledge and skills were impressive.
