Alex & SVB Score Thread

5-5 right now. Shane played a safe in the current rack and they decided to take a break. We are still on the break right now.

They're both taking their sweet time selecting shots.

Breaks over, shane won the rack.

6-5 Shane. Shane just made 3 balls on the break.

They're both playing pretty solid. Not very many errors yet. Shane has the break workin. Alex has improved his break as well.

Sweet. How about runs - are they flowing fairly well or is it getting a bit sticky ?

Do you know what time they are playing to tonight ?

Shane started a bit slow, you could tell he wasn't quite comfortable. He was taking a ton of time on routine shots but he seems to have caught a gear. Alex is tired and you can see it in his body language. He just won the World Pool Masters so he's been playing all day long.

The first few games had some sticky situations. They made their runs but they were struggling through them. Shane has broke and ran several racks, Alex has no break and runs (he did make 5 balls on a break though).

Alex needs to stay close going into day two. I had a thought that he may be off from playing the tourn all day but figured he might also be fired up and playing good after winning the event.

When are they going to quit? Alex has beat Shane the last few times they played I heard.
 
What was the score in the Masters ?

(sorry for the dumb asks - but I've got a million and one windows open in each screen & this is the only pool on I have running !).

They're going until someone gets to 30 wins. Tomorrow night they'll go until someone gets to 70 i believe. They are going to finish it out on day 3.

Umm, I'm not sure about the score. I know it was hill-hill vs Mika Immonen and apparently was one of those nail biters. Alex is coming down off that emotional high.

How much did Alex and Shane put up this time to play? They did put up their own money right or is someone putting it up for them to play for?

Im just guessing but i think most players who play pool at that top level all have backers except a handful,i could be wrong though. :cool:

They put up $10,000 a piece. I'm not sure but I think they have backers.
