Alex & SVB Score Thread

What's the race to for today?

As I understand it, Alex vs. Shane, race to 100, three different matches to make up the 100.

So does that mean when one of them gets to a score of 33, they quit for this morning and continue tomorrow morning, EDT?

I think it's 30, then 60 and then 100.

They stop the first day when any player reaches 30. The second day they stop when any player reaches 70. The third day they finish it out.
 
I could be wrong about the second day though--it could be 60. I can't remember for sure.
 
So right now it is about 3:30, Vegas time.

Both players must be exhausted, especially Alex after playing in the finals.

What a great win for Alex. He must be on Cloud Nine!

Shane is younger than Alex, and so he may have better endurance to play in the wee hours of the morning. I can't remember how old Alex is. He's older than Shane, but he's still a young'n by my standards. :p

This is not looking good. I swear Alex wins except for the times I bet on him. :eek:

Hope he can at least come back in day 2 only down 4 racks but that doesn't look good on happenin..

It ain't over till it's over, and Alex ain't quite done yet.

Hang in there. With the World Pool Masters tournament out of the way, the best is yet to come!

It must have been difficult for Alex to play in this first match-up with Shane. You know, as I'm sure, how exhausting a tournament can be. I know the ones I have been to, after they are over with, I want to recover from the physical and emotional drain that a tournament places on people. Believe me, sweating railbirds suffer as much as the players themselves sometimes! :D

Tomorrow is a new day! :)

Any updates on the score at the end of day 1? I didn't find anything on the TAR site. No sense in me buying the live action... I go to bed at 9 pm!
 
shane just made it 27 - 17.

shane stopped the rot slightly, he's been running out of steam last few racks.
 
Alex took another one back 27-18.
Alex is taking another break, Shane seemed to have a problem with that,
but Alex went anyway. Feels like the momentum is shifting towards Alex.

That is so true. It is about 5:00 a.m., Vegas time. Alex is still coming off his great win.

Most likely, Alex is taking a cigarette break, or he could be going to the bathroom to wash his face with cold water, trying to stay awake. :o

These 2 guys are champions. Has Shane taken a nap or slept at all while Alex was playing against Busta and Mika? Maybe Alex is taking a nap in the men's room hahaha If he is, then I would not blame him. Someone should go in and check.
 
cigarette break it was, although alex stressed it's defnitely his last break.

28 - 19 now.

scott frost is beginning to doze off keeping score as well lol.
 
shoulda stayed in vegas

damn i wish i was still there. next year im gonna have to make my stay a little long. can somebody from TAR shoot me either EASY-E's or Deadpoked's phone number.

Alex has no quit in him (big surprise;) )
23-29....Alex just ran three.

Looks like 24-29, Alex made two incredible shots.
