Alex & SVB Score Thread

Good job to both players. I'm happy for Alex though. Who couldnt be? Both are great guys / players no matter who won. Great match.

I didnt see any of it last night either. I fell asleep at 7pm since I hadnt slept the nights before much.
 
Well I just started a thread with the final rack on youtube. I hope only one person actually believes that I jinxed SVB by being too overconfident.

And to that person I am truly sorry that I made SVB lose. lol.
 
Damn, I'll being winning some C-Notes in AZB lately. It has already paid for my Club Membership and then some.

Yes being able to gamble on pool online is the greatest thing ever. I believe that was KT's idea to make money with the IPT. It was very unfortunate for him that they started internet gambling laws after he had started it.

I believe that is what happened I could be wrong though.

Alex Pagulayan won fair and square! I just love that kid. I would like to see him win the whole 10-Ball championship too. What a great week he is having! :)

Shane's loss has got nothing to do with you, it's just Alex played great down the stretch (as always) and he doesn't know the meaning of the word, "QUIT". The thing that I've noticed, you've been calling out the other Filipino champions to step up like Shane's gonna run them out one by one. It ain't that easy. These pool artists, hardened by the money matches each and every waking day won't just fold up and play dead. It's win or no food on the table for their family for today for them, if that won't make you play your hardest, I don't know what will.

You don't even need to call out the likes of Alcano, Reyes, Pagulayan or Manalo to play Shane, because the lesser lights will play him, EVEN. Ask Jay Helfert, he will attest to what I said. When Shane was there, only one dogged him, the rest was willing to play him EVEN.

The Filipinos' pool motto, "Show me the money and we play!"

Guys do you think the fact that SVB plays with a new cue (fisher cue, he used to play with a schon b4) he needs time to adjust to it.... I know 190 plus racks is enough to adjust.... what say.....

Shane had a 22 game lead on the 2nd day, and a 15 game lead on the 3rd and final day using the same cue as you said. No excuses please...

There are still a lot to beat, Reyes, Alcano, Orcollo, Wu, Ko, Yang, Fiejen, Souquet, Busta, Gomez, Lee Van, Manalo, Peach, Appleton, imports from Mars, Jupiter, other solar systems, etc. Oh yes, you said Best on the Planet. Disregard players form Mars and other solar systems then.

I can't even fathom how much heart Alex showed this week and how many fans he must of made after winning the Masters this week with a great comeback and then coming back on Shane like this.

$30k so far this week?

Hope he mails Phoebe some money before the craps tables start calling to him.
