they are all messed up, no wonder she's been struggling until here of late.

i was watching a tape of her from a couple of years ago, and i noticed she was taking anywhere from 5 to 8 to 6 warm up strokes before firing. its that inconsistency that has caused the problems with her.

now that i've taken my lesson i can see the problems she is having. i guess i am going to have to email her, and let her know that i can help her, and fix her mechanical inconsistencies.

but then again, looks like someone may have beat me too it with her wins in the last two events...........

Her mechanics still looked pretty good the last time I watched her play. Probably most pros vary their number of warm-up strokes, Phil Capelle did a study on that.

Tiger needs help too...

Right after you get done fixing Allison's problem you can email Tiger Woods and fix his swing...

speaking of which, its my understanding that Eldrick Jr. does indeed have an instructor who helps tweak his swing every now and then. guess there must be a lesson in there somewhere...........

I hope you don't believe that the number of warm up strokes is independent of the difficulty of the shot. Because it's not. I hope you're not always firing on the fourth stroke even when you're not ready, or always taking 10 warm-ups even on straight-in, diamond-long stop shots.

OMG!

3 weeks ago you posted (several times) about how you couldn't draw a ball straight back - at least not consistently.

Now you're effen critiquing the winning-est female Pro Player of all time?

AND a world-class pro that is renown for here smooth, consistent, predictable stroke?

Yet you still can't stop whitey in the correct QUADRANT??

Puh-faakin-leaze find something else to do!!

DCP why don't you get a life , how old are you? Grow up and stop being so ridiculous.

Well I have to say that this thread may be one of the top ten most incorrect things stated ever on this forum and ...........ARE YOU FREAKIN' SERIOUS?!? Maybe if she took fewer practice strokes.... didnt really aim that much .. OH I KNOW ... STOP holding your cue so level Allison .... if you would JACK UP the back of your cue on every shot that may help some .... oh yeah and dont keep your arm so still .. put shoulder into it and dont stay down on the shot ... jump up just before fire .

How could anyone think there is a problem with her stroke???

These comments are proof that a little knowledge is not always a good thing.

I have managed to just about ignore your multiple threads, but this one caught my eye. Isn't it a little pompous of you, a rank beginner, to think that you could advise the greatest woman player of all time on stroke mechanics? Or anything else for that matter.

Scott Lee's rates

I'll take bad mechanics if I can win my 50th tour event. Damn Scott Lee, I knew you were good but, didn't know you could turn a player into a world-class instructor over night. Looks like your rates will increase accordingly.
