my first post here at AZ.


My First Post Ever

It has almost been a year, friends.

And I would like to take this opportunity
to thank everyone here, my online buddies at AZ,
who have been great and all, sharing info, news,
tidbits - anything, and everything - related
to the sport that we all love!

A special thank you goes out to Mike for coming out
with this site - the best billiards forum on the Internet today!
And I kid you not! You inspire me to do well,
both online and offline, especially in my own little nook
in this online world. You the man, Mike!


Another thank you note goes to Brandy -
for her unwavering support to Mike and the site.


More thank you's for Mr. Wilson. A great moderator
and all in my book. People may not always agree
with your decisions, and sometimes, IT IS a thankless job.
Despite all of that and more, you continue to moderate
this great site firmly and fairly.


A very special thank you note to CrownCityCorey,
who was the first to reply to my initial post here at AZ.
Your six word reply meant a lot to me. It inspired me
to post more and all! And oh! I was really surprised with it
- you posted a reply within a minute after I posted my post!
That was cool in my book!


And last, but definitely not the least,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, fellow AZ'ers!
You guys rock! Your thoughts and your views
continue to enrich my understanding of billiards.

For truth be told, billiards is more than just pocketing balls,
position plays, and wins! A passion? A lifestyle? A bond?
Billiards is all of these and more that we, in every corner of the globe,
all share via this great medium, AZBilliards!

i remember your first post, and i'm sure glad you spent the last year here, I hope you stay for a few more. And I kid you not!

I agree that you have made some great posts in your AZ career, the catchphrase just kills me. If you would stop saying "I kid you not", I would appreciate you a lot more.

It's like Will Smith saying "Now, That's what I'm talkin' about!"

Just be who you are, you don't need a gimmick to be respected here, you just need to be knowledgeable about POOL!

No offense intended, but I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Maybe I have a thick skin but it doesn't bother me that he ends most of his posts with the phrase "I kid you not". I wish I was cool enough to have a catch phrase. I've seen other people post that phrase and every time I think of AnitoKid. I've got more important things to bother me like getting a hangnail or thinking I might have a scratch. :D I can only pray that he doesn't start kidding us because of your post. :eek:

I really appreciate your input, thoughts, blog and humor. And the way you honored your mom on her special day was very memorable.
To sum it up, you are a valued member of my AZB family....and, you guessed it.....I kid you not!

PS-That "I kid you not" is a neat signature-phrase you got!
 
I stand by what I said. I was not slinging insults, I was offering constructive criticism. I even made it a point to say that I enjoy Anito's posts except for that one mildly annoying trait.

I also made it clear I was not trying to offend, just offering my opinion. If no one else agrees with me, I have no problem with that.
