He couldn’t have been more than early 50s, if that. He came through our pool room on the road with Tony Watson nearly 25 years ago, and I played them both. I remember him saying that I was a formidable shortstop, and I took that as a compliment. I’ve tried to keep up with his progress ever since. Very sad.

I've tried watching that site and i can't get past having the commentators on the screen the whole time. Annoying as hell to me. I've watched AK on other streams and he was good to watch. I admired his pool game and he played in a bunch of tournaments at Diamond Billiards.
IMO, I thought his pool stroke was one of the steadiest, smoothest I’ve ever seen and
he was always polite, accommodating & seemed like he was a great guy to call a friend.
