Amazing shot by Jeremy Seaman during gambling match

I cant see it...It tells me there was a problem loading the player and there is no playable source???... :(

I would imagine if you are having difficulty watching it you are trying to use IE. You have to use firefox and have flash installed. Mobile devices are the same. That clip is a freebie but your welcome to watch the whole match in the members forum.

What's wrong with IE? Isn't it pretty much the standard of the PC world?

It was back in the mid-90s when your only other option was netscape. We've come a long way since then, however. IE has come a long way also. The wrong way, but a long way nonetheless.

So what exactly is wrong with it? I have had no issues in several years.

I have however tried Firefox and Chrome and have had issues.

So I loaded Firefox and got this:

Two browsers, no shot. Guess I'll just have to take you guys word for how amazing it was.

This is my typical results when I am told I need Firefox to see something.

You also need Flash installed which is very standard and my forum works peachy. Thanks.

1. IE is not the standard in the PC world. Do a quick search and you will find that Google Chrome dominates browser usage statistics, and IE comes in third behind Firefox.

2. IE has a very long history of performance/security/web development issues. You can read about the myriad of reasons why users choose better browsers here, here, and here. This has caused many savvy tech users to use better software, and despite improvements to IE, its reputation is difficult to shake. Most computer users have followed this trend away from IE, which is obvious when we look at the usage stats.

Mike:

This might make a great clip to upload to youtube, liveleak, etc. in the hope of it going viral and promoting pool. :) Maybe cut the clip down to 30 seconds or so.

I finally seen this shot,,by working the pause/play feature of the video so it did not skip over it. Its amazing ,,by doing this ,,the shot is in extreme slow motion. (the video will play very slowly after you hit the pause button, for a few seconds)

I'm having a hard time believing he was trying to make this shot,,but he did,,and that is what makes it awesome. And it's on video,,what more can you ask for??

Here is the shot for those who didn't see it. I've just approximated the ball positions.

I guess I'm just confused. Is there a different version of flash I need for firefox than IE? I use flash everyday.

There was quite a bit of LUCK involved in this shot, but the ability to SEE this shot and then execute it was very creative. Not a LOT of people would have thought to go that route and then been able to deliver the shot.

:)

I think it was the position of the 8 that prevented him from doing a more common 3-rail (well, 4 rail) kick.
