Hey all! Just FYI, ABR will be airing today/tonight and I am sure there will be a post from someone letting you all know when it is up. This will not conflict with the TAR podcast as it will be on at a different time and recorded so anyone will be able to listen whenever. I will be watching the TAR podcast and looking forward it.

The next Legends and Champions Report on American Billiard Radio will be a great interview with Keith McCready. Lots of opinions, fun facts an stories from The Color of Money and other things. I hope you enjoy it.

I just wanted to say that I've "tuned in" to each week's airing since the launch of the radio show and I must say that this has been one of the most interesting developments for pool in years. I enjoy each week's broadcast and look forward to the next. Great job folks.

I don't watch/listen to either live, as I'm playing pool, but I'm looking forward to both shows.

As I was doing the interview/chat I found myself drawn into the stories and saying to myself how interesting it was. The Producer at ABR was talking about editing the hour long+ segment down so as it does not run too long so hopefully they can put up the FULL interview in the archive section for those who want to hear everything. We shall see.

ABR is on Thursday night but here it is 7 EST and we still don't know what time
it's on yet, but I guess that's normal for Pool.

I can always go to the archive.

I posted as unofficial spokesperson in a different thread on this. Last week was the first week that the show was actually on time or early. This week I think someone will post on the forums what time it will be airing due to the fact that Dave ( Mr Bond ) is attending the funeral of George Fels. Even so he is very aware that the TAR podcast is on tonight and does not want to clash in any way. Sorry my OP may have been a little too early and should have found out a time before I posted. Still hope you can get to enjoy the show as soon as it is available. Thank you for your support.
 
When is this on , or maybe I should ask will it be on tonight ???

Unless I missed it no one has come on AZ saying a time?

that's my fault. Mr Bond gave me a wakeup call, but my phone was on silent. it's midnight & we are listening to the archive. and guess who's on????

Mr. Bond I liked the show again.
But don't be scared to call a pig a pig.
Greg Sullivan had no problem saying that the BCA is, are worthless, and neither
should you it's a fact. Stating facts will make your show more relevant it is what it is,
and they blew it. My opinion of coarse, but I don't think I am alone there.

One thing for sure, I really, really dig that music at the beginning. It is inviting, making me want to listen to what's next. :)

I like the idea that ABR Radio has an open mind and broadcasts all sides of the pool industry. It's not all anti-this or anti-that or all one-sided. Instead, it allows the listener to form their own thoughts on various topics. And that's a good thing.

Greg Sullivan has the right idea about providing a product that people want to buy. People watch pool for different reasons, as Greg points out. Entertainment value is key, and interestingly, Keith's thoughts were similar to Greg's in this regard. :)

Interesting discussion about the angle of the pocket that Greg brought up. I had never thought about that before, the 145-degree angle. Changing the opening of a pocket, the angle has to be adjusted. Thanks, Greg, for sharing that little bit of insight. :wink:

Love the one-minute pool instructional tips by Scott Lee and Randy Goettlicher. Great idea to share pool-shooting strategies. This is a great complement to the entire program. :yes:

I'm going to listen to the second half with Hard Times owners Karen and Michael Markulis, interviewed by MaryAnn [ph], as well as Darren Appleton after I finish my job deadlines. :o

I wish I had a car that had the capability of playing MP3 files. I could download this radio broadcast and listen to it in my car when I'm out and about. Something like this would be cool to listen to while en route to a pool event. I like the fact that you can listen to these whenever it convenient or when time allows. :cool:
