Dear Evelyn,
I Would like to sincerly apoligize for my rude and unprofessional behavour, i and am truly sorry for things i may have said,truth be told,i dont remember. and i know there is no excuse on my behalf, i have known you and danny many years and your professionalism has never been questioned by anyone i know, every tournament i go to your name comes up, always because i bring it up because a lot of tournament directors dont know what they are doing.

i took a bad situation and made it worse,i love you and danny and im truly sorry, and i would like to tell everyone i offended im sorry. it will never happen again, i hope you will forgive me.

Gary,
I met you at J.O.B.`s in january for the first time(i was with Billy Young).I watched you play Robert Frost and you were a complete gentleman every night you were there.I have to say everyone can get upset and let something get the best of them.It happens to all of us.
Your apology to everyone has shown you have caracter and class(even if some say different).
Very nice post.

Took a while to cool down but I just knew you were a standup guy.
And at least you apologized, publicly, for your 'meltdown'...I hate public offenses with private apologies.
 
Props to you Gary for a well said apology. I hope all is forgiven and your back at Shooter's in the next Midwest 9 ball tourney. We are all human and all make mistakes.
 
you blew your top thats for sure. but, it takes some nuts to step up and flat out say " sorry ".... nice move

Danny and Evelyn have been up and down the Pike many times. I suspect the apology will go a long way with them.
Gary is a good guy and has been a fixture in Olathe for many years. Everybody is due a mistake now and then.
 
Welcome back Gare, you've been through worse, this forum at times can puts ones perspective, like a good friend will, back into place, hope I can get out there again, its not health, just need a good reason and haven't found it yet. Heal up and you'll play even better, tho I personally hope you don't :))))) Just kidding.

I too, apologize for suggesting that you should have used more commas in your original post. What I meant to say was that you should have used a lot more commas in your original post.
That said, your apology has been well received, and I'm sure that Danny and Evelyn, who I know to be fine people, are happy this unfortunate situation has come to an end.

Congrats and cudos for the apology Gary. It takes a big man. I know you are a good guy and I hope this doesn't tarnish your relationship with the midwest tour and or shooters.

What does it say about this site, or this country for that matter, when the "Cheated" thread gets 160 replies while this one gets 11??

I've known Gary for quite a while and have met his brother on a few occasions, both great people and always in good spirit.

Did you call Evelyn and Danny and also Dan Tull and apologize to them?
If not I think you should really do this. It's good that you did this here where everyone can see it. But where it really counts is the people you hurt.... All 3 of these people have known you for 20 plus years. They are 3 of the best people I have ever met in my life. They shouldn't have to read a apology. They should at minimum hear it and if at all possible get it in person ...

It's not the mistakes we make that define us. It's how we rectify them that does !!!!!!!
 
Nice apology Gary... you character is shining through.

I'm sure Evelyn & Danny will see it this way, especially since it's a very PUBLIC apology.

Lots of us know you & know the competitor you are, you'll be back wearing spades.
