I am very surprise about jay helfert posting a sponsor thread,
and i am in shock that so many people wants to help me.

I will bow out in deference to Jack. I didn't realize that Ming was one of his sponsored players that gets a case a year. I am sure that Jack will also be able to help Ming with 6 cases a year the same as I offered and the proceeds to go to helping her stay on tour. If not then my offer still stands.

Ming is one of my favorite peeps that I don't get to see enough of. I hope that this threads gets her the required financial support that she requires.

Well that wasn't really my intention but Jack said he would take care of Ming's case needs and I hope that means more than just making her a case each year or every couple of years.

I can't really offer any money but I can make a $1000 case every two months and offer it up for sale auction style with a $500 minimum and donate the entire proceeds.

If Jack does the same thing or better then I am sure Ming will be well taken care of. Jack's cases are the classiest in the Flowers style of cases and I predict that each one he makes for Ming's tour sponsorship will sell in minutes.

I know what I am able and willing to do for one of my favorite people to see her get back on tour where she belongs. I would expect my colleague to do the same or more.

My impression was he is a one man shop and that you are cranking out cases left and right over there in China. His one case a year might be a bigger percentage of the gross than your 6. Or maybe the case business is way better than i thought. I dont know. Im not looking to start anything so that's my last post on the matter. I always enjoy your posts.

I wish I was cranking out case left and right. We can make one custom case per week.

Right now we are doing some J.Flowers tribute cases and those we are able to do 4-5 about every 12-15 days because we have made the tasks repetitive. Still there are a lot more steps to making our version of this case so we can't make as many of those as we'd like to be able to. But I wasn't offering these cases as part of the sponsorship.

Regardless, I know what Jack is capable of making and if he isn't prepared to match my offer then he shouldn't have offered to take care of Ming's case needs. Any case maker can give her a case but the airlines, the hotel, the car rental place, nor the WPBA will be in any way paid by the fact that Ming has a pretty cue case. She needs an offer that brings cash into the picture and I am offering 1/8 of our custom production towards bringing cash to the party.

I think that a very good idea for Jack to continue to be associated with Ming would be to arrange for the Long Chan case factory to kick in some of their Justis West cases and maybe some money. That way Jack doesn't have to make the cases to be sold and yet the Justis West line can get some more promotion.

Either way my goal is to get someone I really like some moolah so she can play the game she loves and is good at.

What a smile! Now you know why I love this girl. By the way, Ming was instrumental in making the L.A. Billiard Expo happen. She worked with me every day, helping me with the planning every step of the way. Ming's a pretty smart cookie too!
