An AZB TAR Match-up

Would you pre-purchase a TAR DVD set to fund an AZB Dream Match?

Watching a good ghost match.
I think it would be an interesting add-on to TARs already great shows.

Maybe somebody vs the 12 ball ghost.

Theres nothing like watching high powered offense.

haha, one person voted against TAR, who is this Alvin Nelson clown anyways?

I know seriously. You go on a billiard website and click no for not supporting a group who sweat day in and day out for getting pool to the public. Alvin Nelson.... you have my douche award for the day! :grin-square:

AZ Cribs.

.

JC,
Definitely sounds fun. TAR is always welcome in Betmore's Basement. Perhaps we can even have some celebrity players in the audience to liven things up a bit.

Would it be possible for you guys to edit out all of Mark Griffin's crying after our match????? I definitely will beat him; but I don't want to totally humiliate him (well....errrr....maybe you can just leave all of the crying in).

We follow around a member for one day doing their normal routine.

We could follow Vette to the office and watch him surf AZ all day, then go back home and hijack the 4 Mexican landscapers at 8 ball and top it all off by making it rain at the local gentlemans club. Just another typical Wednesday in the life of Vette.

I'm in.

That's actually a fantastic idea for your Action Challenge matches with the pros. You could add to the DVD pre-match stuff following the pro around discussing their practice regime before the match.

It works great for the UFC.

Willie, you might want to be careful antagonizing Mark. Most people don't know this, but he is a ninja. True story.

The only problem I have with the OP's idea is that this would be more of an exhibition than it would a gambling match. God knows I love and try to support TAR as much as anyone, but look how much less interesting matches are (ie. the recent IPT matches) than actual gambling matches. I just think its because when a player has their own money on the line, you know you're going to get their utmost attention and most likely their best game. I think this is especially true when talking about true big-money gamblers like Matlock or McCready. I'm sure they'd play, but when its your own money, you tend to play harder. Who knows, maybe i'm wrong.

We need to get something going on the TAR sight. ive got a serious jonesin for some vbookie action. :)

JC,
We all know that REAL ninja's don't cry; I guess we'll see.

I did notice that Mark was veeerrrryyy carefully inspecting the Betmore Cup during a recent visit. I think he may have been planning a heist of some kind (since his chance of winning on the table is virtually nil).

I will warn him that it is guarded round the clock by the Pinkerton's (actually it's Bobby Pinkerton's Mowing and Dog Walking Service, but those damn kids are wiry, and more than a match for Mark).

It's coming....I promise.

I know people hate waiting but if we talked about all the matches that do not end up happening people would hate it more. I will say that it will be worth the wait.

It's obvious your keen sense of danger has tipped you to the situation at hand and you have taken some wise security measures. May the two of you join in an honorable competition for the holiest of holies. I just hope both come out alive in this clash of titans. And that no innocent towns or cities are caught in the crossfire. (Think Godzilla v. Mothra)

Actually the format I am proposing would most likely be more similar to the players playing for their own money. Most players have a backer. Meaning that even if they lose, it is not their money. In the TAR matches even the losing player will receive money from DVD sales. In this case, the player would be betting their own revenue from the DVD sales.
