Moderators, I'm asking you to let this thread run for your own feedback and for the health of the boards. In my opinion, you just made a mistake.

Why on earth would you ban Poolhustler (Russ), who never causes problems and is an absolute stand-up guy, when he merely responds to a royal insult from RKC, who manages to insult everybody?

In my opinion, if Russ is banned, RKC should have been too. However, if I were making the decision, RKC would have been banned for throwing the first stone, and Russ would have been warned.

Opinions?


(FYI Russ knows exactly what he is talking about on this subject and has spent many thousands of dollars properly setting up his Gold Crown.)

Well letting a guy skate on a direct Go Fvck yourself may be too much to ask. "Go Sh*t in your hat" and he would probably be fine. Given RKC's history and that post though, he should be on vacation too. The fact that neither is a gold member kinda irks me more than anything.

Thanks for doing this Chris. I did a search for that thread and was about to PM Dave and or one of the owners myself.

Froze had mentioned that many of the posts were deleted so we don't know what really was posted.

This is about all that was left.

You can type the word or abbreviate the word FK in a post, but you can't tell someone to eff off. That is 100% understandable.

But considering Glen's propensity for stirring emotions in members as per this example, I would say that it could easily be over looked with a Warning.

Either Hustler comes back or they both get a small vacation. Only fair on this one.

Be different if this was only one instance on Glen's behalf also. But it ain't.

I like Russ and I like RKC, also.

I know these guys had some history regarding Russ wanting his table done by RKC some time ago but Glen not getting around to it for one reason or another.

I have a GC1 that was setup by Glen, cobrasized, or diamondized, if you will.

This GC plays superb; tough but fair pockets and kicks and banks just like a blue label Diamond.

so with all due respect, and speaking with some first-hand knowledge, I believe it's do-able to get a gc to play like a Diamond.

I think some of this jabbing at RKC may have been more to do with the aforementioned history with these two guys, but who knows?

Regarding the banning, I think it's tough for mods to look away from a "go fvck yourself" comment aimed at another member.

And I don't think Glen was exactly an innocent in this exchange but may have stopped just short of earning a vacation from az.

Russ is a good contributor and I hope his penalty isn't a long one.

wow - i am shocked! thanks, Tate for starting this thread, cause i didn't know & i like Poolhustler (well i like his blood red lips). ;) as i recall on Xmas Eve, there was a Blue Moon açoming on AZB & tensions were high; perhaps it was a knee-jerk ban?

yes, both should have been banned. length of ban(s) should depend on poster history & common sense. i hope to see Poolhustler back tomorrow! and in the future - he needs to use the phrase: BITE ME! (cause apparently that's not an infraction) :cool:

@ Watchez - i'll bet, that if it were Dave, then RKC would have been banned too. but having said that, the last time someone (Primo) told Wilson to __ ____ ________ ....

I know "rules are rules" but sometimes you really need to apply the spirit of the rule rather than going "by the book". Hopefully, Russ just got a short stay in the penalty box and will be back in a few days.

Then again, if we are going "by the book", how is RKC not banned too?

I guess I will take a vacation from this place myself. RKC can really get under peoples skin and and he shouldnt have responded the way he did. Poolhustler came back in a rather firm way and let it be known what he was thinking. I think his ban shouldve never taken place, but what do I know.

This place has gone to crap and certain people are allowed to walk all over others. I will stay in NPR and see how long it will be until I get banned. Ive had enough of some people and my tongue is about to break free. FREE POOLHUSTLER! !!!!!!!!!
 
BAN the BANNING!

Let there be NO MORE BANNING and let the beheadings begin. Call the "Tally Ban" to tally all the bans and then "off with the heads".
