I've got an arsenal of Meucci cues, both old and new. Some of the really old ones have a little cue roll like any olden, vintage cue that may have spent a few cold nights in the back of a car. None of my "new" shafts have anything wrong at all.
I just finished picking up my latest cue (21st Century #2 with an upgrade to The Pro shaft) directly handed to me from Bob Meucci himself at his factory in Bahalia on rte 302. It plays beautifully.
Barbara gave me a personally guided tour of the factory and I got to meet many of the workers and to see their talents fast at work.
My wife and I were there 4 hours visiting with Barbara, Julia and her husband, Mark, and of course, Bob himself and Elvin, the shop general manager.
We are delighted with their professionalism, dedication to artistry, performance and durability.
I've got lots of Meucci's and I love each and every one of them and I think very highly of the Meucci name as it relates to cue making and personality.
