Hi, have this old cue no markings and very beat up. I know at least 30 years old because its been in my possession for that long. Anyway, came across it a couple days ago and wanted to see if anyone knew anything about it. So guys, how about some feedback?

That would qualify for use in the Billion Dollar Tour. IMO. Fits right into their specifications

I can't tell you much about it but I may have a few of the weight rings that will fit the cue for sale real cheap. lol

It looks like a Bafarian Prayer Stick, you can tell by the carvings.
While they can be used as a pool stick, you must be very careful to insure that the Prayer sticks spirit is not released through mis-handling. These cues / prayer sticks were brought into the USA during the 1970's and each one was designed to look like different items for sports or home use. Many of the pool stick versions were distributed throughout this country. If I were you, I would be careful with that thing, the spirits inside them can be very menacing. The best thing to do with item is to get rid of it as quickly as possible. The best method for its destruction is to burn it, and spread the ashes in a church yard or other hollowed ground.

Good luck and have a good night!!!:)

I think that was Efren's first cue he had when he came to the states!

A member of my league team has an identical cue. his breaks down into a jump cue and can vary the weight by adding or removing the silver rings.

IMO it hits like S**t. It feels hollow to me.

I'll ask him Wednesday night at league maybe I can get you at least a brand name possibly a model.

It's an early made Varney break jump cue.
IT came with that sheet too.
I believe that was his San Francisco model.
I believe the third piece has 2 c batteries inside.

It doesn't appear that anybody's giving you much of a straight answer, so I will: it's an extremely cheaply made (in China) cue that has pretty much zero value. Hope that's not too disappointing.

I had a cue that an employee gave me up in Ohio back in '93. It was a CANE.

You unscrewed the top and pulled the shaft out of the compartment. Screwed it on the other end and then replaced the cane top on the same spot for the weight on the back end of the cue.

Used it as a hustle in bars. Anyone ever see one of these?

Andrew...Actually, IIRC, these cues were made in the Phillipines, not China. I may be mistaken, but I think there was no cue manufacturing in China 30 yrs ago. John Barton would know better, I bet! I've seen dozens of these cues, and all were junk. No serious poolplayer would use them, but if you put a decent tip on one, you could certainly hustle with it!
